I first came here off a groupon for 3 massages and all were pretty good but the morning special is what kept me coming back because I figured there would be 1-2 therapists that would make it all worthwhile during my search while still saving some money instead of immediately disregarding this little gem. They're always nice up front and finally through booking double massages for me and my mom while she was visiting, we hit gold. She had Chris and I had I think Rose but then Rose was sick, Rose wasn't in that day etc so instead of the great massage I got from her I went back to okay ones. So when my mom returned home, I decided to get my next massage from Chris ( short for Christina ) because I'm a martial artist/work out enthusiast who needs more pressure than the average person. She's got glorious hands and elbows folks and she found all my knots and kept at 'em making me relax further into the comfort of the bed that has a face opening. The extra hot stones to top it all off made me walk out of there in true bliss and I had to tip her well for the magic she did. I've been sore for these last couple of days but I like that because I know whatever tension I was holding onto is now slowly being released. She's my new favorite and the only one I'll go to unless she's out now but don't pass up this clean, cute spot because of reviews posted that are one and done. It took me awhile to find her, but I'm now a loyal fan and I won't be going anywhere else! Give it a try, go early to get the morning special deal if they're still running it and enjoy this very well kept secret in...
Read moreMy sister and I came here the other night and both got a 90 min massage. Cost was $60 each. They had you pay first and insist on cash or Zelle.
During massage, my lady would either pause or slow down. It seemed as though she was texting on her phone. She would continually do that but I realized she was just killing time. The massage was not good and I kept trying to find ways to tell her but she wouldn’t catch on.
Afterwards, she was outside my room with my tea. I gave her 20% tip. She looks down at it, grabs my arm and says “90 min!” I told her “I know. It was not good”, and proceeded to the lobby to wait for my sister. She kept walking around, saying something in Chinese.
When my sister came out, she was trying to find me since I had the cash for tip. Her lady kept following her. My sister liked her massage and gave her a 25% tip. Her masseuse looked at the money and proceeded to tell her “90 minute massage!” Apparently that was not enough either.
As we both walked out, my lady continuously gave me a dirty look and mumbled something the whole way out. The whole experience was horrible. NEVER have I been harassed like that!
The lady at the counter just sat down behind the desk, as if this was a normal thing. If the employees are not happy with the amount, then maybe the employer needs to pay them more or charge more for the massage.
Though my massage was not good, I still gave her the 20%! It saddens me that we were STILL treated that way.
I’m NEVER coming here again and will stick to the other...
Read moreI won't lie. From the outside, this place looks a bit shady, but it's actually a legitimate spa.
They provide services for massage, facial, and nails, but each technician only does one of those services. So the person filing your nails isn't also giving you a massage.
Found them through Groupon where they have a deal for 90 minute microdermabrasion facial and a deal for 60 minute hot stone massage which I did both.
Pros: The staff are all very friendly. Mandarin is the dominant language spoken, but can still get by with English. Gua Sha is offered and I recommend if you are familiar. Extractions are done during facial which I wanted. Small parking lot in the back of the spa. Their prices on Groupon and morning special massages are hard to pass up!
Cons: The micro derm portion of the facial was very brief, as in one quick pass on the face. Much of the time is spent waiting for masks to dry so you don't feel like you get a true 90 minutes. The hot stone portion of the massage was a joke. They only use 2 stones total and briefly rub on your body. Just like their picture shows, at least 4 to 6 stones should be used and left on your spine. However, the massage was relaxing.
Even with some setbacks, I...
