Scam Alert!! I contacted Gabriel Jack because I got my form I-751 denied by the USCIS in December 2023. During the consultation, he showed me that he was greatly motivated and interested in helping me with the case. I also told him that many lawyer refused to take the case because they didn't think it's a good case. However, he LITERALLY said, " Don't worry, I have my folks in USCIS San Jose office." - I can confront him- . I don't think the USCIS is corrupted, but honestly, these are the exact words he said. He also told me other things that are not true. For example: when I asked him to apply for a work permit because I worked as an independent contractor and I needed to sign contracts with companies, in order to make a living pending the case, he replied, " As far as I know , you still have your green card and you can still use it. " He said that even though he has a copy of the USCIS denial letter on file and when I confronted him, he literally said, " I apologize , I misspoke." We all know that had I believed him, I'd be in prison now. Actually, I've concluded 2 things from this situation. One of them is worse than the other; 1-The first possibility is that Gabriel Jack is not aware that when form I-751 gets denied, the person loses his/her green card or legal residence and hence the right to work. 2- The second possibility is that he knew that I became illegal and he didn't care about me committing fraud and going to prison!
After I paid the $5500 and the USCIS fees for motion to reopen, Gabriel and his staff stopped replying to my emails , and when Mr Gabriel replied after over a month, instead of being apologetic for the late reply, he was very upset with me. Furthermore, the lawyers that I've consulted with were surprised that he didn't file a privacy Act form/ freedom of information form to get the exact reason why the USCIS denied my form I-751 .
A lawyer told me that Gabriel should have submitted the privacy Act form before the I-290B / motion to reopen, because if the immigration officer thinks I had a sham / fraudulent marriage, there's NO POINT in doing the motion to reopen, and it would only be a waste of money and time and I should look for other immigration options.
I-290B OR MOTION TO REOPEN GOT DENIED ON AUGUST 16TH 2024. Gabriel Jack charged me $5500 to file form I-290B / Motion to Reopen. He knew that filing motion to reopen without any supporting evidence, affidavits, or even a written story ALWAYS GETS DENIED. Consequently, my motion to reopen got denied! I think that Gabriel did that because when the USCIS denies the motion to reopen, the case OFFICIALLY ends, which exactly what happened, and therefore, he'd get $5500 that he didn't work for, easy money!! I believe in the American justice, and I believe that someday he'll pay for what he did to me and to many other immigrants!
When I talked to him on the phone, he said , " I'm not perfect. I lose cases sometimes, so stop bothering me!"
Gabriel Jack charged me over $5500 , and I never met him or any one of his staff in person. We never talked about the case. That's a breach of the contract that he signed with me. I really want him to pay for what he did to me. Also... I'm sure that I'm not his only victim. He must've done that to many other poor, defenseless immigrants , especially the ones who don't speak English. I honestly don't think that the 300+ 5-star reviews on Google are real. People can buy fake reviews nowadays, unfortunately!
Now I'm facing deportation because when form I-290B gets denied, the person has only 15 days to appeal, and neither Jack nor his staff warned me about the deadline. I think he's purposely and intentionally ruined my immigration case. Due to his negligence, I'll have to live without a green card for at least 3 more years. How am I supposed to pay my rent, medical bills, and my other expenses! He ruined my life. The damage that he caused me is incalculable!! and the worst is that he did that on purpose! Please check out the...
Read moreWhat can I say about MJ Law? THE VERY BEST!!!! I have so much to say and thank them that it is hard to find the words. My husband and I are a same-sex married couple in which my partner was a DACA recipient. In this embattled political climate, it seemed daunting and a struggle to find a way to legalize my husband, as told by numerous lawyers and one whom had had my husband's case for years but didn't seem to know what to do with it. It was at this point I made it my mission to find a lawyer with the right credentials, experience and dedication to work with immigration issues and who simply wouldn’t give up and give the paper work back like the previous lawyer had done. I came across MJ Law and was comforted almost immediately by their description, enumerating their accomplishments and their range of clientele from blue-collar workers to celebrities. We were quickly connected to Gabriel Jack who took the case head-on. But I wasn’t taken aback by this amazing repertoire but by their sincerity and attention to every detail and customer service they provide through every text, call and email. My husband and I live in Southern California so texting, skyping and emailing were the way we communicated, and Gabriel and his team were on top of every issue, every phone call, question, doubt and every detail in the case. My husband’s previous lawyer had been working 10 years on the case and yielded no returns. The first Skype conference we had with Gabriel, we knew we were in good hands; His knowledge and ability to tackle the issue was evident right away and his expertise and problem-solving skills were immediately revealed. Gabriel and his team started working on the case as soon as we contacted them in December 2016 and by December 2017 my husband had already received his permanent residency card (green card). Gabriel was with us every step of the way and even flew down here to San Diego just for a couple of hours to be present at the hearing for the case and flew back that same day. Gabriel Jack and his team accomplished in less than one year what other lawyers in the San Diego region had not in 10 years. My husband’s case was particularly difficult based on how he had entered the country but Jack Gabriel’s team and Gabriel Jack himself tackled it from every angle and never gave up. Thank You So Much for all you did for us and for what you have been doing for the community!! Did I mention? Gabriel Jack speaks...
Read moreWe first went to Gabriel back in 2017/2018 when my wife and I got married. Gabriel was recommended to us from family. Right off the bat, Gabriel asked the right questions to determine the best path for my wife to petition for me.
It was decided that consular process was the best option and we started the journey around 2019 when we submitted our documents. In the process we met Yessica, the BEST paralegal we have ever worked with. On top of consular process, I had to renew my work permit every two years, and Yessica was always there to help. Fast forward 3 years and there was a new opportunity to adjust my status, so I reached out to Yessica, and without hesitation she encouraged and supported me through the very stressful process. The process involved two different firms (my work firm and MJ firm). Yessica was extremely knowledgeable in the process, she provided documents, and resources to find the information I needed to submit. After I submitted, I received an RFE, and again, Yessica was super super helpful as she knew exactly what to provide and respond to USCIS. After that, I got my approval to do advanced parole. After coming back and doing AP, the very next day, Yessica sent out my adjustment package. I seriously couldn’t believe how fast and accurate she prepared the package. 6 months down the line and the RFE came in for the adjustment of status, and we submitted it again. A few months later….AND my case was approved, I was finally a US resident.
I not only gained a great law firm team but I also gained a great friend, Yessica. If you have a case and are thinking about getting law help, DO NOT HEISITATE!! Yessica is the absolute best, she has attention to detail, will respond to every question you may have and will seriously work for your case. We couldn’t be happier with how things worked out. Now I have my GC and I can’t thank MJ law enough, specifically Yessica. If I had to do this process again, I would 1,000% choose MJ law. THANK YOU, THANK YOU,...
