This review is for the park only. A lot of the reviews (both bad and good) for the park are actually for the museum. The park outside the museum is small but beautiful, and open to the public with a small, free parking lot.

There are fruit trees and vines, and waterlilies with koi in a pond lined by papyrus plants. There are benches under beautiful old trees and it's just a beautiful and relaxing place to sit and enjoy some time in this secluded spot, right in the heart of the city.

(It's also close to the Municipal Rose Garden, so if you're visiting here for the gardens and have time for a detour, you should stop there, too, although that is a completely different style of garden.)
