My review is for Moba Tea catering and also Teaqueria. I've had the pleasure doing business with Frank pre-pandemic and so happy he's still in business! Working with him was easy breezy, as usual! He was very prompt in returning my email/phone call when I had a last minute catering inquiry (well within 24 hours but I think it was about 4 hours). It was smooth from quote to execution. His prices are more than reasonable for on-site full service catered boba teas. It's was like bringing his shop to us! His team were all very professional and pushed through almost 500 cups of teas fairly quickly. The employees were impressed that they didn't have to wait in line very long for their bobas and I received lots of positive feedback. Now that I know he's expanded his business, I will definitely keep him in mind for catered bobas aaaaand tacos or something snacky! Today, my friend and I had a chance to visit the storefront, Teaqueria. She ordered the passion fruit tea and customized it to be less sweet and added aloe and jellies. We were quite overwhelmed by the choices and customization options and glad Frank helped with recommendations. As for the the food, we decided to share so we could taste a few items. We ordered the small steak nachos, fish tacos, and chicken tacos. The portions were very generous and it totally filled us up. The servers were very prompt when we asked for our waters, hot sauces and utensils. Now digging into the food!! We were impressed that our chips (in our nachos) didn't get soggy underneath the toppings. We did strategically eat that first. . But even towards the end, the chips became malleable but not mush! The flavors were very good and we even added hot sauces to it. We asked to try every hot sauce flavor and they were all good! My favorite was the orange sauce and the habanero since I felt those two had the most balanced and complex flavors. Sorry, we forgot to take pics of the house made hot sauces bc we just went for it! If you're there, make sure you order the fish tacos. I'm a huge fan of non-fried /non battered fish. It's way better than other taquerias where they only batter and fry fish because that's how they hide and disguise bad fish. Here, the fish was seasoned nicely and had depth and flavor and NON fried! Wait, I already said that. My same comparison goes for the chicken tacos too! Usually shredded chicken is dry, hence the need for tons of sauce. But I found the chicken here was moist and flavorful. I hear taquitos are really good but they were sold out today. I must go back to try! Thanks Frank and team. We love supporting local and small businesses.

I recently visited Teaqueria in San Jose for the first time and was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the overall experience. The vibrant, fresh presentation of the dishes immediately caught my eye, and the flavors delivered just as much as the visuals promised. Nachos with Al Pastor The nachos were a standout, generously topped with tender and juicy al pastor. The meat was perfectly seasoned, offering rich, savory flavors that paired beautifully with the creamy guacamole, tangy pico de gallo, and a drizzle of sour cream. The portion was hearty and ideal for sharing, but honestly, you might want to keep them all to yourself! Al Pastor Burrito The al pastor burrito was equally delicious, packed with flavorful rice and succulent pieces of al pastor. The burrito was well-balanced, with each bite delivering a satisfying mix of textures and tastes. The accompanying salsas added a nice kick, letting you adjust the spice to your liking. The burrito was served warm and fresh, making it a comforting and filling meal. Overall Experience Teaqueria’s attention to detail and quality ingredients shine through in every bite. Whether you’re craving loaded nachos or a classic burrito, this spot delivers on both flavor and portion size. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic and satisfying Mexican fare in San Jose.

Boba meets Taquito= Teaqueria! Super cool little spot, with a nice vibe. Stopped here to celebrate my daughter's 30th b-day. She loves Boba Teas and Mexican so I knew this place would go over big for and my other daughter's, who all consider themselves to be foodies. It's a small place with BIG flavors. The restaurant is pretty small and parking is limited. Theres room to eatvoutside with space heaters. We ordered a flight of Boba and milk teas 4 flavors of each. We were able to try teas we had always wondered about and discovered some new favorites. Though they were all delicious. Mango milk tea, and the Thai Milk teas were two I had never tried before, but I will definitely buy more often. We had an assortment of Bobas as well. DELISH! We tried the Special BBQ Chicken & fried rice Burrito, which was super flavorful and hearty, along with Taquitos, and a crispy chicken Chimichanga that was loaded with flavor, and chips tasty salsa. The staff was SUPER friendly, and helpful, and a gentleman that seemed to be the owner or Mgr. was very hospitable and attentive. My daughter said the music seemed to be streamed straight off her music playlist, which earned points for mom...lol. Give this place a try! #Boba #tacos #burritos #milktea #SJ #friedrice #mexican
