Amazing fishing trip with Captain Carlos! Carlos knows true fishing and the water he covers. He works hard to make it the best trip, and to go after the fish that are running. We caught barracuda, tarpon, mackerel, albacore tuna and yellow tail snapper! I’ve fished my whole life in midwestern USA, and learned so much from Carlos about saltwater fishing and the art of fishing with lighter tackle. Pancho, the friendly pelican, is a cool addition to a trip with Carlos on the reef. A pelican friend he feeds by hand that comes to see him every time he’s on the water. I look forward to fishing with Carlos again and Drop Fishing Charters on my next visits to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

This is by far the best fishing charter we have been on and we have done a few. Carlos is an amazing person, guide, and just full of enjoyment. He makes that just just amazing. We will be back to go fishing with him again in the near future!!! Anyone I see or can recommend I will send them to him just because he is the best by far and he got us on fish and a lot of fish!!!! Don’t waste your time with anyone else go with Carlos!!! We lost a few fish but that is fishing and one that we lost was a giant. Give him a call and also look at his YouTube videos so you can see for yourself how amazing it is with him. He is like that every time he goes out to fish!!

I have done 2 trips with The Drop Fishing Charters. Carlos knows when and where to fish! We were searching for a bigger boat to go out on the offshore trip & he has the perfect 24 foot craft. He is bi-lingual and very knowledgeable and willing to explain why it is were fishing a certain location with specific bait. We have caught Snook, Mahi Mahi, Barracuda and Tarpon.. While we were waiting he was showing us previously caught fish in the same spots. We got to see many iguanas & local birds. Fantastic charter...if you're debating who to book through look NO further! Book with Carlos & The Drop Fishing Charters.

I have never met a Captain who’s as passionate about fishing as Captain Carlos. His honesty and integrity has earned my respect. His passion for fishing is contagious the moment you step onto his boat. While he is willing to go out in challenging seas, he will also be honest with you on what you can expect. Inshore fishing is always an option when Mother Nature does not cooperate for an offshore trip. I mostly appreciated his flexibility to work around the weather. You will not find another more accommodating, knowledgeable and passionate fisherman/Captain than Captain Carlos. He found fish for us when we did get out! His work ethic for his clients is unmatched. I look forward to many more trips with Captain Carlos! I thought I had a passion for fishing until I met Captain. Carlos! He’ll make your Fishing passion look “mild” He is an absolute pleasure to fish with! We’ll done!...

Best Fishing Trip EVER!!! 20+ Mahi Mahi in a few hours.. Thinking about which guide to go with..?? Don't waste your time with anyone else... Captain Carlos Andres & his 24 foot Contender will put you on the fish....

My girlfriend & I went on a Deep Sea Fishing Trip w The Captain & couldn't have been happier.. We had a blast reeling one Mahi.. after another into the boat.. These guys are professionals & really know how to manage the trip.. whether you are experienced or just a beginner..

Captain Carlos & his hands are excellent guides.. & just all around good people to hang out with.. We enjoyed it & will definitely be booking an Inshore.. & another Offshore trip when we are back in Puerto Rico later this year.. Fun.....

Went out for my THIRD charter with Capt. Chispa, and this time somehow topped the other two! If you can't tell from the other glowing reviews, Chispa has one passion: fishing. It shows through his experience and knowledge of some of the most challenging waters, and he has great people skills to boot. Every time I go out with him, it's like taking a Ph.D. level course in angling. He explains things very well, shows techniques, and is able to find fish like none other. I caught a wahoo, 4 mahi, and 2 barracudas (which we released, of course). It was the best fishing experiences and one of the best times I've had in Puerto Rico. Without hesitation, book him now! He has my absolute highest...
