LUCA — Local services in San Juan

Great boutique to find local designers!

I came here last time visiting puerto rico. My wife wanted to do some shopping and I was on the hunt for a gift- for a friend/ dog sitter back in New York. Found Luca after some googling and I'm glad we paid this store a visit! I picked up some really nicely designed stationary and writing utensils for the dog sitter. My wife found a dress and shoes- super chic and modern + made by local designers. My wife was so happy with her finds we went back the next day for necklace.

The store is really well curated and feels great inside. This boutique would easily fit in any of the trendiest neighborhoods in New York. The salesperson was cool and very knowledge (my wife loved learning about the local designers they work with).

Also there's an awesome little cafe next door - the only cup of cold brew I've found in Puerto Rico!

What a Gem! This is a special store and worth a stop if you’re looking for unique, modern and refined jewelry or gifts. They carry a combination of local and international pieces— all beautifully curated and high quality. Make sure to ask for any other pieces they have in the back —they don’t have room to display all their cool pieces. We had such a great trip here and Gabriela was a true delight. She was very knowledgable about where everything came from and the artists that made them, genuinely cares about the customer and stayed open late to accommodate us, even though we got there right before they were closing. Really beautiful minimalist jewelry, the owner makes some of it as well. On the expensive end but it seems high quality, local or small made and really unique and beautiful, I would recommend.
