We love Michael's, especially now that's it's Summer time and I have a tweenager to entertain. I gave Michael's 4 stars for two reasons 1) the shelves aren't ever fully stocked. The employees are nice, but getting someone to go in the back to find what you're looking for or to help you look through the boxes that have been brought out in the shopping carts to stock the shelves with to find what you want, doesn't usually happen. 2.) The parking lot SUCKS! I understand that's not Michael's fault, but the parking lot for this location is awful. It's always so hard to find a spot, you have to fight people off when you do find a spot and then the spots are so small that you get door dings with each visit. Forget about taking a baby in a carseat or an elderly person with a walker out at this location. There are great aspects of this location, I don't want this review to be all bad. Read moreI like this store products for the most part and it's conveniently located within the vicinity of where I live however the customer service has gone from so-so to bad. Since this pandemic has happened and delivery, curbside and shipping has become the order of the day the level of care on the side of the workers has gone down... At least with curbside and delivery. Twice now I've placed orders early to late morning as before/by 1p for same day is the rule. I've called by 4/5p as I never got confirmation of it either being ready and/or on its way to be delivered just to be told they had not even pull the items together. I've been understanding and then asked ok so when will it be ready/ or if being delivered... Delivered and was told they would get on it. Ok good. Just to finally get 3/4 of my order w/o an explanation of the missing item(s) I either call the store back or would just look at the receipt and figured they did not have it stock. Read moreManager in this location was not dedicated to providing customer service and straight up lied to our face. We just did a curbside pick-up this afternoon for our children lap trays and the manager brought out two pink lap trays. We asked if they have a different color for our son and she said that they were all out of the other colors.
My spouse and I decided to return one of the two pink lap trays and she happened to double check it for herself. Her intuition paid off and found different colors of the lap tray and the same manager that told us at the curbside was the one that did the return of the pink lap tray and purchase of the green lap tray.
My wife also noticed that the in-store price of the lap tray is cheaper than the online price but then the manager was not able to give the price during the exchange transaction. At that point she had enough of the manager that couldn't figure why the in-store price which is cheaper is not ringing up during the exchange transaction, so she just decided to pay for the...
