Area Amusements — Attraction in San Marcos

I have been working with Area Amusements for four years now and have nothing but 'perfect' things to say about all the interactions I have experience with them! When I was able to start a home gameroom, I was lucky to have found them as they began my collection with two machines: 1. an upright "Multicade" video game that has over 50 of my favorite 1980's games; 2. a late 1970's pinball machine. Their prices and delivery process were great at all steps but the story doesn't end there. They are a very responsive family company and I am happy to say that whenever I have experienced problems with any of my pinball machines, whether purchased from Area Amusements or not, they have happily come to my house to fix them promptly. Most surprisingly, the cost to fix my machines has always been under what I had budgeted, to the point that a couple of times I tried to pay more as it didn't feel 'right'. They have it all: good products, great service, friendly attitude, fair prices - I highly recommend starting your own home arcade by contacting them as they can track down old pinball machines that you want to add to your home; you can be confident that they will support you in all ways after...

I have a 1993 Raiden II arcade game that sat inoperative for 2 years until I started looking for a repair source. Luckily I found Mark and Anita from Area Amusements! They were always on time, and Mark is a video game savant who not only knows how to fix the games, but knows all about different games and the most frequent malfunctions. I knew I found the right place when I called a competitor and they stated "We don't fix those type of games, try Area Amusements". Well, I did, and they are the best repair source in San Diego! Mark, Scott and Anita are the real deal! From the start Anita was so very helpful and knowledgeable being the first point of contact. From there Mark listened to all my concerns and took them into consideration upon delivery of both a 35 year Pin and a 25 year old arcade which they fixed them both. Upon delivery Mark was there to greet both my son and I with exceptional service. I thought Mark was the tech at the time but come to find put he was the owner also working on customers machines.
