MUST READ!! BEST TINT/SERVICE AROUND!!!

Hands down the best service I've received around! I'm new to the area and just bought a new car. I was initially refered to a different tint shop. I won't say Dspot where I was originally supposed to go, but I'm glad I ended up avoiding the other shop. The original shop cancelled my appointment the same day it was scheduled, then rescheduled it for a day I couldn't make it. Then he proceeded to make it seem like it was my fault and he put a friend of his in my time slot...so..after being completely furious and disappointed in the original shop, one of my friends referred me to Tint World. My boy, Angel, was able to hook me up with a next day appointment for tinting on my car! I was stoked that he had availability so soon and booked right away. I decided to get ceramic hybrid tint on my brand new 2020 WRX all around, and let me tell you, it was mint! Not only was the job quality absolutely fantastic! Also the customer service from every employee there was superb! I was told it would take 1.5-2 hours for my car to be done and while I waited in the lobby I was offered bottled water, the other employees didn't treat me like I was invisible, they actually greeted me and everyone made me feel like I was actually a valued guest. After I had been sitting for just under 1 hour my car was ready. Speedy service and it looked fantastic! I watched the guy from the other tint shop using a box cutter on the customers window to cut the tint to size, but at Tint World all that showed that anyone was there was just some soapy water droplets on the door and seats. I was cool with that bc I didn't have to worry about cuts in my glass. My tint came with a lifetime warranty so if anything ever happened to them, they would fix it or replace it for free! The other dude charged to remove tint and redo it.

Bottom line is...there's no other place to get tinting done. Everything I experienced with Tint World kept surpassing my expectations. Top notch quality work, very quick work, communication was very responsive, and above all, the staff delivered impeccable customer service and delivered a very surreal, wanted, and valued atmosphere. I'll never recommend anyone to anywhere else. They provide other services as well, and though I only did window tinting, undoubtedly the other services are just as meticulously...

TLDR: stay away from this horrible business! They damaged my car's headlight sensor during tint installation and denied their liability! I paid ~$600 for premium tint and now I have to spend another $400 to fix the sensor damaged by them.

I took my 2-year-old car to Tint World San Marcos for a full car window tint and the auto headlight stopped working immediately after they tinted my car. I contact the shop the next day and they suggested to wait and let the liquid dry out.

2 weeks later the auto headlight still wasn't working. I then took the car to another dealer and they confirmed that the headlight sensor right under the windshield was damaged by liquid during tint installation. There sensor was corroded and there's water stains inside the sensor where water should not present by any chance under normal circumstances. The quote to replace the sensor was $400.

I reached out to Tint World San Marcos again and told them the whole story. The staff Ryan promised to give me a call after asking the owner for solution, but I never received any call from them. I then called back multiple times and another guy Angel told me that the owner Gregory denied their liability for damage to my headlight sensor. They didn't even offered to check my car or tried to repair it or whatsoever.

Also, the tint quality was poor. The tint has some wavy/grainy pattern and there are lots of specks and tiny fur under the film even after they redoing the tint. I highly recommend anyone stay away from Tint World San Marcos.

had my car (Tesla model 3) done at their San Marcos C. A location Store 034, Since day 1, I saw multiple issues, I reported them in the spot (same day), Pockets for Air, Ringer Prints, and Contamination, they said everything will go away over time, (something that never did) I came back to their shop about four times, to have some help with the issue, They looked at and made some work in all 4 occasions, the last time in the 4 week mark. I reported the issues again, one of their Tech came out and said please reschedule for redone, the job was done wrong, I tried to reschedule but I was told with the Redone the car will be damaged, and I will need to file an insurance claim with Tesla (the manufacture of my car in this case) I mentioned if you are the root cause of this issue you should be the one to work on the insurance claim. at that point, I asked to speak with a manager, trying to figure out a solution together, "Greg" the manager at the location, was pretty aggressive and was not able to present a plan to fix the issue, he said that he was going to call me the next day to have their Sr, Tech looking into the issue, also he said that he was going to contact their legal and insurance department for my case, (that phone call never happened) at this point, the car has multiple bad spots, Fingerprints and Air pockets, their documentation and initial agreement was that the installation had a lifetime warranty, My car is damage because a bad installation and Tint Word has not contacted me yet with a solution … over 6 months now I still waiting for their...
