Every time I come to this Starbucks it is a breath of fresh air. 🌬 🙌
💝 I love every staff member here, everyone is such wonderful individuals. Lauren and Tyler are absolutely amazing people here, they totally made my day today. Dolly is a sweetheart too. She helped comfort me when I was having a really bad morning one day, and she exchanged genuine kind words to help me feel better. To who this may concern: please give these individuals a raise or a huge kudos or bonus: they shine, and are such great people who work so hard. Everyone I meet here is an absolutely gem, 💎 they make delicious drinks, go above and beyond, they give excellent customer service; so be sure to show appreciation and give a cash tip. 😉 A random fun fact of this location, if you come here enough, you may get to meet or encounter a very positive regular who has a fun hat, and he always says some kind words to many of the workers or people in the lobby. It totally lifts up the day and environment. The workers and even some customers like the regular I mentioned, all have an energetic, positive, pep in their step. It is absolutely delightful.
Holiday ❄⛄ (Christmas 🎄 ) featured drinks are out now, Creme Brule is delicious! I got to try it with sugar cookie and it was very yummy! However drinks are always tasty and fantastic all year round.
Notes: 🎁 Definitely grab a Starbucks gift card gather points to eventually redeem free goodies/drinks. 📱 If you register the card that you keep to reload for points on the Starbucks app you get to also order ahead online and skip the line. And you have a digital copy of your gift card that you load cash into in the case if you ever misplace/lose it. (Our phone is practically attached to our bodies so might as well get the app for the digital back up as well as exploring the menu at your favorite Starbucks location near you, and more app benefits). *To those who work at Starbucks, please correct me if I'm wrong or information has changed since.
📸 I took a good handful of these pictures prior to the renovations.
🚻 2 Gender neutral restroom(s) with out codes. (One of the restrooms are closed off but I still see some people sneak behind the closed tape sometimes). I do not recommend this, nor have I done it, to be respectful to the workers here. If it is an absolute must, I would recommend getting permission from a worker here if you use the closed off restroom.
🚗 They have a drive through.
For those who still play Pokémon Go there are 3 "gyms" and 2 "Pokéstops" which results a cluster of spawned Pokémon here. 😉
This location is located in "Grand Plaza", in San Marcos, which you can look up in Google maps instead of remembering it is the San Marcos Las Posas location or other ways to remember. There are also really great food from the neighboring restaurants to enjoy.
The store and restroom(s) are very clean. There are a couple of close by outdoor trash bins as well as the opportunity to recycle or throw away trash inside on their napkin station.
The water is triple filtered and always is crisp and refreshing. (It's better quality and tastes better than bottled water). Be sure to wait in line even if you just ask for a cup of water, to be courteous to everyone.
🥪 Other than drinks ☕🍵🥤🧃; there are many tasty pasteries, 🥐🥯🍰🍫🍮 treats, breakfast sandwiches, fruits, 🍎🍌🥬🥕🫐🥑vegetables, and more snacks or power meals to eat.
There is a lot of dine in and patio seating with a few umbrellas.
Overall, wonderful store inside and out. Great, clean, fun, positive, uplifting environment, terrific staff, food and drinks...
Read moreDear Starbucks Customer Relations,
I stopped by your store today and purchased a small order for $2.95 — my usual “test purchase” to gauge both product quality and customer care at various Starbucks locations. I came primarily to enjoy a brief work session: charge my laptop and phone, check my email, and perhaps design a few documents while having coffee.
To my disappointment, nearly three-fourths of the power outlets in the store were nonfunctional. This is not a one-off issue; I’ve noticed this same pattern at several other Starbucks locations. As someone who chooses your brand precisely because of its reputation as a dependable workspace for travelers, entrepreneurs, and on-the-go professionals, this is concerning.
Your outlets — and by extension, reliable electricity — are part of the unspoken service value that differentiates Starbucks from fast-food chains. When that infrastructure fails, it doesn’t just create inconvenience; it undermines the sense of reliability that loyal customers depend on.
I would respectfully urge your facilities and management team to: Inspect and repair all nonfunctional outlets at this location. Ensure new stores maintain working charging ports for guests. Consider integrating renewable or solar-based energy systems as part of your commitment to sustainability — which would align beautifully with your public environmental values and help ensure outlets remain consistently powered.
As a paying customer, I believe in Starbucks’ mission to provide comfort and connectivity to people on the go. This is not a complaint made in frustration but in constructive advocacy — a loyal patron pointing out where the experience is quietly slipping.
I appreciate your attention to this matter and would love to see this addressed promptly. Please confirm when maintenance is scheduled or provide a follow-up contact at the district or regional level so I can share more specific...
Read moreE.T. arrived shortly after 6 am on Saturday, December 8th, 2018 for a customary royal english hot black tea with skim milk. A scrupulous, well mannered, young gent rang up a large paper cup of steaming hot water with 2 tea bags on the side, unsteeped and small portion of skim milk. E.T took a large wooden table by the window to enjoy sunrise and turn a few pages of a book. 45 minutes later, E.T. purchased a second large royal english hot black tea from magnanimous, fine, lovely young lady. 2 hours passed, minutes after 8 am and E.T. requested change for a twenty dollar bill. A ten, five and five ones for tipping. Surprise, surprise!! Deviant, heavyset Starbucks store manger refused to open the drawer to allow tipping. Apparently, the manager is a professed communist and fails to value tipping for hard work. E.T. wanted to reward employees for excellent, gratifying service to Starbucks brand. Shameful philosophical Marxism shall not be rewarded in the United States of America. Also, the probability is quite large that communist manager adulterated the skim milk clandestinely with a noxious compound. E.T. treated the exposure and concomitant side effects with medication. Starbucks employees work hard and offer gracious customer service. Why are they being punished for sociopolitical, cultural, individual,...
