Just ate here for lunch today with a family of 5. We wanted a booth but they were just slightly too small so we had to sit at a regular table. Not a problem actually as all of the seats are padded.
We each ordered a lunch menu item, which all come with half-and-half rice and chow mien noodles, plus a small egg drop soup. Lunch items are right around $10 each, and each of us got a heaping plate of food. HIGHLY worth the $10.
We all liked our food. The orange chicken was not too sweet unlike other places (Panda). I got the Shrimp with Hot Garlic Sauce. Lots of sauce on this one. It ended up leaking out of the container after we got the rest to-go, so be sure to pack your leftovers well. The Beef with Broccoli was great.
We also got the Bunny character buns. They looked cute but I didn't think they had a lot of filling. Not too sweet either.
One thing to note: we noticed that some of the soy sauce bottles have a cracked lid. The one on our table wasn't screwed on tightly so we got soy sauce everywhere and had to exchange with another table. That one also had tape holding the lid together, so be aware.
Also, they only had plastic forks. No metal forks. It's a little tough to eat heavy noodles with plastic forks.
They don't have any beer options that I could see. We all chose water. Total came to $61.66 and we had a lot leftover so you have dinner covered if you...
Read moreYou're average joe Chinese spot in a pretty easy-to-get-to location. I had the lunch special which comes with egg drop soup, which was perfect for the sore throat I had going on.
I had the hot garlic cause with chicken option which was definitely hot enough to cause me to sweat but definitely not overpowering. I'm a spicy eater, so it will definitely be on the spicer side for some! Lunch Special was enough to fill me up when I was hungry 😊
The experience would be about middle of the road between what you would have at Panda Wok off Rancho Santa Fe and Panda Express. Not as expensive as panda ex, but food is still good compared to the lower quality you would get at Panda Wok.
With some of the cooks having a laugh/singing here and there, and exceptionally fast service with a clean dining area. It's much preferred over the cheaper establishment @ Panda Wok. I'll...
Read moreThis was my first time coming to this restaurant and I had a terrible experience. Will not be coming back and do not recommend. The waitress/cashier was really sick, he had his mask at the bottom of his chin so there was no use of him having it on at all. He would be coughing all over the food without covering his mouth in front of all the customers. By the time we noticed him we had already paid, but if I would've noticed sooner definitely would've gone somewhere else. Luckily he only touched one of our plates and the rest were brought by the other waitress. I let her know he should cover his mouth and not cough on the food and when she went back to tell him they both just started laughing. Do...
