Ten Fifty Eight Event Center — Attraction in Sandusky

To start I want to say that the venue is very nice and reasonably priced (prior to the 18% service fee) and the food was delicious, however, you will want to make sure and get anything they verbally agree to, in writing. We were misinformed on a major “must have” for our wedding and didn’t find out until after the deadline to withdraw without penalty, that we would not be allowed to pursue that item. When it comes to the tasting, there is a limited selection to choose from and you can only choose 4 items. We asked to try a specific protein at the tasting because we wanted to taste it before serving it to 200+ guest and were not allowed. Ten Fifty Eight doesn’t let you try any sides either, so you don’t really know what you are paying for. They made the wedding day pretty stress free but not so much leading up to that day. Several guest approached our parents stating that the owner was rude to them during the reception and they shut the bar down (not serving any alcohol or soft drinks) and cleared off the tables, which contained guests beverages, prior to the end of the contracted time. My daughter couldn’t of picked a better place for her reception, we had so many people come up to us and calling us later and telling us how amazing the food was and how friendly the staff was and how efficient they were! My daughters reception was during this pandemic and I can’t express enough how thorough they were about keeping everyone safe. The servers all wore masks! Kassie the event coordinator is top notch, she handled everything from the beginning to the end, she was always a phone call away for questions that either my daughter or I had. She is friendly and very professional.She loves her job and wants every Bride to have the best day ever! Ten Fifty Eight is your one stop shop, they have a house DJ, Rock & Roll Express and they did outstanding, with not only rocking out the dance floor but also with their fun photo booth, with a complimentary photo book, to their photographer Drew Viana who is outstanding! Where do I start.... Kassie and Jeff are truly angels from Heaven. When my husband and I were looking for locations that were affordable none hit the mark until we came across Ten Fifty Eight. From the very first meeting until the day of the event Kassie has been very instrumental in making our day a success. I am originally from Cleveland and my husband is from Sandusky, and I know if I would've had the wedding in Cleveland we would not have received half of the amenities that was offered to us at Ten Fifty Eight.
