Sound Grounds Coffee Shop & Music Cafè - Sandusky, OH — Restaurant in Sandusky

My friends and I aren't from Ohio and we were traveling down to visit Cedar Point. We stopped here because we had to use the bathroom really bad and this coffee shop was the only one with a bathroom available. Before we walked in, a worker, he was smoking a cigarette, walked in and didn't even wash his hands. He was wearing black headphones. Possibly the owner. Didn't greet us or nothing. One of my friends went in first and as we were waiting for her to finish, the guy finally says, "Hello people, I've never seen before. You're just going to come in and not say hi?" First of all, he works there. First red flag. He then asked how we were doing. Then, my friend came out and right when my other friend walked in, he says "No, you guys aren't just going to huddle in one spot for the bathroom. This is a public place." So if it's a public place, I can use the bathroom. I didn't get his name but he was wearing headphones and had teeth that looked like they were rotting out of his head. We walked out and he followed us out. As we were walking away and turned the corner of the plaza, he yells, "I own the business, you could at least socialize!" and I replied back saying, "Yeah! You own the business so you should be greeting us." Already didn't like that place...

It’s always an amazing experience at Sound Grounds!! The owner has put a lot of love and care into making this a comfortable environment and it shows. He recommended the Chocolate Banana smoothie with espresso and it’s unlike anything I’ve ever had, so incredibly delicious I forgot to wait to take the picture!!! The music is always top tier and paired with delicious customizable coffee and a wonderful pastry selection, it all creates the perfect vibe for an amazing start to your day. 100/10 recommend, I’m so glad Sandusky finally has a spot like...
