Absolutely horrible experience. This is my first review ever. I literally NEVER write reviews, but from the time I walked in the nail salon until the time I left, it was a complete and utter disaster. When I walked in, I asked to get a fill in for my ombre nails. (Keep in mind, not everyone knows how to do ombre nails, but they assured my friend and I that they did). Normally, I go to the Haute Spot, but unfortunately they were closed today. For a simple FILL in for ombre , they told me it would be $75. (The first sign that they probably didn't know how to do it). I politely declined that service and continued to get a pedicure. I asked for a french pedicure with a firework as a design since tomorrow is the 4th of July. The owner came to do my design, and literally put random lines all over my toe. No organization, no firework, it looked like confetti with random colors. It looked so horrible even the lady next to me said I should get something else. I told the owner that it did not look like a firework and I really didn't like it. (This was major for me as I NEVER speak up when I don't like something. I just deal with it until my next pedicure). She was very unpleasant and caught a MAJOR attitude as she took the design off of my toe. Then she let me sit there for an EXTRA hour waiting for someone to put a simple design on my toe. My friend walked up and asked her if she was still going to do the design or if I am waiting for someone else. She responded with such hostility, saying that I didn't like her first design so she doesn't want to do another one and I not like that one. My issue was....why didn't she say anything? Why have me sit there for an hour? Why not ask someone else to do the design? Eventually, a guy came over and did a different design and I was ready to go, but I thought she would at least take something off of the bill for the extreme inconvenience. I spoke to the guy about it and explained that I've never experienced anything like this before and if she could at least take something off of the bill. She said no and I just paid the bill and left. I will NEVER go here again. I like places that appreciate their customers and this place is definitely not it. Take your...
Read moreThe first time I called here I felt like I was a princess. Tom answered and said they do the best SNS nails in Sandy springs. The first time I went my nails broke the first week, the second and third time that I went I had Jenny and she did amazing. Although, the third time I called for an appointment (Tom scheduled it) for 11:30am with Jenny, She was in the middle of another persons pedicure and I waited 20 to 30 minutes, even though I made an appointment. Jenny and the other owner who I believe is the wife, is amazing and the only person/people I would recommend (Tom never did my nails, so I can’t speak for his service, but his customer service is selective). I would return if it were just Jenny That I had to deal with. While I was there Tom tried selling me on microbladed eyebrows and it felt so uncomfortable the rest of appointment because I felt like he was telling me to make me feel insecure. Although I felt uncomfortable, I decided to stop in a fourth time. I had another woman and she was kind the entire service- I also just wanted SNS nails on my natural nails (which they say costs $35)- but when I was getting cashed out By Tom, they spoke to each other (not in English) then said “for you $40”... even though I only got the $35 SNS on my natural. She did nothing special, I also tipped her $15 in cash. ( I always tip between $10-15 just for my SNS which is a very good tip for just finger nails, not including a pedicure). They aren’t thankful for their tips (except Jenny) - and I work in the beauty service industry, I know what people tip, my business will be appreciated elsewhere. It is too bad because I really wanted to like this place. All the people I referred there are also not returning because I told them my experience. 5/5 nails are broken and it hasn’t even been two full weeks! - also they are short nails, they should not...
Read moreI am so hurt by my recent experience with you all. I have never in my life had a reaction like this after waxing. I asked for alcohol to be used on my upper lip before and after the waxing. The area above my lip is bright red and has huge welts and bumps. As a medical assistant at a dermatology clinic, I know for a fact my service was performed incorrectly. And I was not the only person having an adverse reaction as a young lady was also experiencing a similar problem with her eyebrow area after getting waxed by you all. What truly upset me is the response to my request of a refund. I have over 500 loyalty points and loved coming to get my nails done at your spa. Instead of being sympathetic to my horrific face, you all tried to tell me it was “normal” that everyone’s skin will react differently, that I just needed to use alcohol and that it would be better tomorrow. It was only $7 and I left a $2 tip, so it’s not the pricing I was upset about. I’m upset that you all really weren’t trying to grant me a refund and that I had to act out of character to be heard. I am so disappointed. You all acted like it pained you to refund the $7 and I’m the one that had to go to work tomorrow with a swollen face. Thankfully, we’re all supposed to be wearing our masks. I will not be returning. And it is incredibly unfortunate because I love Myra’s work. I was embarrassed to even have to demand a refund and discuss this issue in front of other clients rather than in private with a manager. You all need to make sure you are using clean wax and that you only have licensed esthetician performing services. Lastly, the fact that the woman at the front desk was avoiding eye contact and decided to speak in another language about me while I was standing right in front of her is extremely inappropriate. This was so unacceptable and incredibly...
