If I could give no stars I would. The front desk attendant is very condescending. I just recently moved to the Sandy springs area and attempted to get a library card from this location to which I was told I live in Dekalb county (even though this library is 5 minutes from my house). The front desk attendant did the most and typed my address into USPS like he’s a postal office worker, rude. Anyway, the only reason why I even tried to get a card was to print a document from my phone to which I was told I can’t print from my phone but from the computer because I don’t have a library card. What type of sense does that make? Printing is printing. Why does it matter what device I use? I don’t want my personal email and information on a public computer which is why I wanted to print directly from my phone. Needless to say I won’t ever be back here and will just stick to Gwinnett public libraries where I’ve never had an issue. It’s a shame I have to drive 20 minutes away just to get friendly...

I inquired as to why (because I've done this before at several other branches) and the associate says it's easier to do it on the computer and she didn't have time to help me. I asked was there someone else I could wait for because I was not in a rush or I could figure it out and was told I could only print from my device if I had a library card. So I asked for a library card but I do not live in Fulton County so I was unable to obtain one but that she'd give me a guest pass to use the computers which was not helpful, as I explained that the files I needed to print were on my laptop. It was an unfortunate situation as libraries are the cornerstone of some communities, safe spaces and more, yet I was met with unwillingness to help as well as intentional deflection. I'd give 0...
Read moreTo be honest, most of the staff come across as a bit socially awkward, monotone, and not particularly friendly. That said, I usually keep to myself and don’t interact with them much—I mainly go to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and focus on my studies. If I relied heavily on staff support, my rating might be less.
However, I do want to highlight two standout employees: the tall, heavy-set white male who wears colorful shirts is always kind and respectful, and the young Indian woman has been consistently helpful as well. They’ve made a positive impression.
The library itself is great—I love the quiet, respectful environment, the comfy chairs, the natural lighting from the beautiful windows, and how clean everything is kept. Their community events are also a...
