This review is for those that are interested in the the TV offer Nouveau offers on Atl & Co from time to time. I had a difficult time finding reviews for the "Gentle Lift" experience so I wanted to leave my own for those that are interested in this treatment. Things to note. The treatment is a PRE-PAID, NON-REFUNDABLE $88 that is supposed to include a consult, thermage anti-aging treatment, micro-current muscle toning PLUS 3 "free bonuses" of a LED red light therapy, collagen eye infusion, & collagen facial mask. I did not receive the LED red light therapy or the collagen eye infusion, not sure why. It's important to note the "non-refundable" part of the special as a sense of urgency is created with this offer by noting it's for the "first 50 callers only" not leaving much time to research the treatment or facility before committing. That should have been a red flag. The med-spa is located in a office park & isn't what I would consider high-end/luxury or spa-like compared to others I have been at. Then again, this isn't the type of "spa" one would visit for pampering & relaxing as it's a treatment-focused clinic. You'll be asked to take a picture 2x, once for records & then another series of pics to document progress. Brenda was my specialist, she was very friendly & accommodating! There wasn't much of a "consult" as she referenced what I had written on the intake form in a dimly lit room. There was no real evaluation of my skin or skin care routine before I was offered her recommendation for micro-needling (4-6 sessions at $1000+) to address melasma/age spots. However, she wasn't pushy about it & I didn't feel like it was an aggressive sales pitch. Onto the treatments. Not exactly sure what micro-current muscle toning accomplished. It only lasted a few minutes & I didn't feel anything. Next came a sheet mask that was only left on for a few minutes. Lastly was the "gentle lift" via a wand that is heated & pressed into the skin briefly. It is hot & uncomfortable but right when you think you're crossing the threshold over into painful, it's on to the next spot. Definitely tolerable. This treatment covered the neck & face area. Afterwards, a SPF is applied & you're sent on your way (with no markings). It's difficult to judge the efficacy of the treatment since it's supposed to stimulate collagen production which doesn't happen immediately. My skin didn't feel any tighter, plumper, or smoother than when I arrived. Same for my husband who had the same treatment & similar experience. I'll update my results (& his), if any, in the...
Read moreThe Nouveau Clinic is one that I have frequented on many occasions for MicroCurrent therapy treatments. The staff is always nice and hospitable. Alexis is adorable and always greets me with a smile from the time I walk thru the door. Ferris (who I think should be the face of the Nouveau Clinic) is an absolutely gorgeous representation of why anti-aging treatments are so popular. The Esthetician, Stacie, is very knowledgeable and passionate about skin care (especially for ethnic skin). She has been able to 'clear up' my skin damage and PIH (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation) caused by visiting other spas and clinics.
The Nouveau Clinic offers daily specials and services at special rates. My favorite service is the Vitamin Infusion that can accompany the MicroCurrent treatments. It leaves my skin feeling rejuvenated and firm and helps fight free radicals.
I can not go without mentioning the products offered at and exclusively sold by the Nouveau Clinic. They are tried and true! I have enjoyed the Serious Face Polish which is a gentle exfoliator with a hint of glycolic acid that leaves my skin clean, smooth and brightened. I was a little worried about trying a new exfoliator, but I'm glad I took the leap. It does not cause skin irritation and it really 'feels' like my skin has been POLISHED. The eye cream has helped remove bags and undereye puffiness. A little goes a long way. It will be a while before I have to buy another one because of how much product is provided.
Needless to say, I have enjoyed frequenting the Nouveau Clinic. The location is close to the Northpoint Mall and other shopping and dining. The access to the Nouveau Clinic is very simple. No elevators to catch or complicated garages - just park in front...
Read moreMy visit was with Saechelle. The treatment was micropigmentation of the scalp, female.I had been to Evie in August of 2014 and was pleased with my eyebrows so I decided to try this treatment. She told me that the cost would be $500 and the treatments would be done in quadrants. She did one quandrant for about one and one half hour (very painful) each visit. After the second quardrant was completed at the second session she had already charged me $500 (this should have been my first red flag because she said some people get addicted to the pain, which I thought was weird). I even asked her in advance not to do the areas covered in the first two quadrants because my hair would grow back and it did, but she said she had to. When I went back for the last two quadrants (because I was desperate for success and she knew it)she charged another $500. This did help some but not $1000 worth of work. I wanted my hair filled in but at this point I didnt trust her she started talking about her marriage in Jan. of 2017, and how she was planning her wedding and was on a budget. I was very hurt and disappointed, but at this point my confidence in her was shot. I really didnt have the money to donate to her cause so I would...
