Sanibel Community Church — Attraction in Sanibel

Hmmm....kind of feel weird rating a church, but this is how the Goog works. After visiting the island seven consecutive years we visited SCC for the first time last year. The members and regular attendees are genuinely welcoming to visitors. We immediately felt like we found our home church away from home. At this post, SCC is seeking a pastor and have a solid interim pastor skilled in expository preaching. SCC is a multi-non-denominational church that focuses on God's word as revealed in Scripture. My husband and I went on our honeymoon to Sannibel and wanted to find a church to worship with on Sunday. Sannibel Community church was so welcoming and so grounded in the word. We both commented on the prayer at the start of the sermon, as the church was kneeling we prayed for the country, its leaders, our men in battle, the list went on. It did not take long to see that Christ and His word were at the center of all instruction and that SCC truly wants to grow you in Christ, to equip you to be fishers of men.
