What a fine time we had today. Mike son and Sherry came up from LA for a ceremony and today was our 37th anniversary. Mike ceremony was at the veterans Center in Santa Barbara. It was quite an event. We thought it was going to be small affair butt they had in attendance in a relatively small room the following people a superior court judge comma state senator comma Santa Barbara congresswoman, various Court officials and a marching band. All of this was planned for a year and it all focused on six graduates Mike was one of them. The local channel 3 news reporter interviewed Mike with the background of military paraphernalia.
Mike said a few words at the podium even though he recently had dental work. A big ball of awesome was one of his comments that everyone liked. The congressman also shook hands and spoke with Mike. It was quite a high-powered group of people and dignitaries that came to the event. It's hard to meet any one of them without an Entourage but here we were rubbing elbows with judges and state senators.
I'm standing in front of the graduation ceremony set up for me. Californias senator is behind me... To thank me. ...

The sunsets here are amazing. There is limited metered parking from 6am until 6pm all along the water front. There are several local restaurants nearby as well as Santa Barbara City College and the Amtrak and Greyhound terminals within...
