California's Great America Passenger Drop Off Area — Attraction in Santa Clara

I recently visited California’s Great America in Santa Clara with my daughter, and we both had a fantastic time at the water slides! The South Bay Shores water park area offers a great variety — from the thrilling drop slides that really get your heart racing, to gentler tube slides that are perfect for families. My daughter especially loved the colorful slides and splash areas designed for kids, while I couldn’t get enough of the Pacifica Plunge — that sudden drop is such an adrenaline rush! The water park felt clean and well-maintained, and the lifeguards were attentive, which helped us relax and enjoy. Some of the more popular slides did have long lines by mid-afternoon, so I’d recommend heading there early. Awful, I purchased 4 tickets on their website because it is so much cheaper to than purchasing them at the gate... but I get there and the park was closed and I live in NY and never got to go to the park. So I spent $140 or whatever dollars and basically got nothing in return and it's cuz the website doesn't say that the park is closed that day it just let's you but the tickets and then when you look at the ticket AFTER you paid for them it has a date on it... what a joke... All the dummies who throw their kids out the window onto the hill while other people who are trying to pay to park have to dodge them should learn about this passenger drop off area. It has parking spots to safely utilize. You can even get out, put sunscreen on them and hug them goodbye. This is the only place people should drop passengers off if they are not intending to pass through the parking attendant area.
