SALADS 2K — Attraction in Santa Fe Springs

Had the worst experience with the customer service and the manager. I when in for today’s special order a clam shouter soup with a bread bowl at 9:42am I place my order so I can pick up at 10:00 am ones I arrived both my order and my coworkers were not ready got charged instantly and had to wait a additional 10 minutes. Ones my order was ready I decided to take it back to my job to my surprise the bread bowl was solid frozen I called immediately so I can speak to the supervisor the girl that answer the phone told me he had just left I work within walking range from the location I saw he was there so I walked back and to my surprise he was just walking out going to the taco location they have next door I took both my and my coworkers order and show him that the bread was solid frozen his explanation was we just received the bread yesterday and forgot to take it out from the freezer I’ll give your money back but bring me the soups and let’s not make it a big deal I told him change me the soups he try to give me cash and I said no give me the refund in my card and a receive. I was in the area and was going to stop at a different restaurant in this center but I saw all the people seating outside enjoying their food. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a kind lady to my left. I didn’t know how to order or what to order. The lady was very nice explaining that they had the Panini Special, soups and their salad menu.

I ordered the Shrimp Avocado salad with everything and cilantro jalapeño dressing. There’s 2 different kinds one is a ticker consistency and the other is more creamy. I got the creamy dressing.

This is a fast paced salad/sandwich bar since you order what you want and what you want in it. Everything is literally made in front of you and handed to pay at the front. It’s a 5-10 minute process, so don’t feel rushed just trust the process.

The taste of the Shrimp Avocado salad was delightful. It was very fresh and very flavorful. The dressing was just perfection. I will definitely be back to try their baked potato and panini. They also have sandwiches but I think they are tortas. Will find out next...
