I recently stayed at a beach condo in Navarre managed by Vacasa, and it was, without a doubt, the worst rental experience of my life. Here is a detailed account of the nightmare we endured: Day 1: As soon as we entered the unit, we were startled to find a photographer taking photos. He was very nice, but this not only prevented us from getting settled but also delayed our plans to hit the beach. This miscommunication between the owner, realtor, and the property management company set the tone for the rest of our stay. Unbearable Heat: We immediately noticed the unit was uncomfortably warm despite the thermostat being set to 62 degrees. Initially, we attributed it to the photographer having the doors open, but it became evident that there was a serious problem. By 6 pm, the unit was still sweltering. I contacted Vacasa, who assured me they would send someone to fix the AC. However, no one reached out, and we had to endure a hot and sleepless first night. Day 2: The second day was worse. After a day at the beach, we returned to an even hotter condo. I reached out again, only to be ignored.. Around 8 pm, as we returned from dinner, we encountered an HVAC tech leaving. He said that the AC unit was frozen and needed to be turned off completely. He promised to return first thing in the morning. We spent another miserable night in an 82-degree room. Then water began pouring from under the kitchen sink. I discovered the drain pipes were duct-taped, and water was pouring onto the floor. Again, I reported this, and again, I was told someone would look into it but no one reached out. The kitchen sink was not usable for the duration of our stay. Day 3: The third day was the worst. We woke up to a stifling 86-degree condo. At noon no one had shown up. I messaged Vacasa again with no response from the local contact. By 5 pm, I demanded immediate action, emphasizing that we had four children suffering in this heat. I had to practically shout to get them to take us seriously. Throughout our stay, no local contacts reached out to check on us. When I requested local contact information to address the issues directly, I was flatly refused. Day 4: The final straw came hours after checkout. While driving home, I received a voicemail from the local contact asking if we had vacated the property because a child was seen jumping over a fence to access another property's pool. We had been driving for four hours by then! This callous disregard for our comfort and well-being during our stay contrasted sharply with their sudden interest in our departure. This experience was beyond disappointing; it was infuriating and disheartening. The lack of communication, the abysmal response to serious issues, and the total disregard for our well-being were appalling. I have never felt so uncared for in any rental I’ve ever had. It is now 5 day after leaving and 4 days since I left a review on the app and noone has reached out. I know my review is being censored intentionally so I'll make sure to let everyone possible know!

I stayed at Navarre beach towers 1003 and it was a disaster. From the moment you walk in The bathrooms needed attention. There is rusty shower curtain rod and hooks the shower curtain was dirty, neither toilet flushed property and the bottom ring of the toilet was dirty . The doors are stained and needs to be cleaned. Among just a touch up of caulk paint for door frame. Moving to the bedroom facing beach, it has a hard bed, 10 inch tv so you have to quint to watch it. I went to put my clothes in the drawers since we were there a few nights well there was a big stinky shirt already in there. Moving to the door to the beach very hard to open and shut. The room facing the bay had 2 closets full of vacuums and stuff so they were not usable for our luggage also that tv did not work remotes were not functional I think if you had the app it may let you watch something. The living room couch was hard. NO INTERNET THE WHOLE TRIP !! The balcony had cheap furniture so if your above 160 don't sit in it. Going to the kitchen dishwasher sounds like a old rusty car door opening, fridge was dirty, cobwebs in the cabinets above microwave washer did not spin very good. All of the clothes were very wet after washing for an hour like they didn't spin out very good. The dryer took 2 times to dry. The front door when you come inside and close it the door frame /jam was busted. Looks like it needed a new panel and security. I paid 2100$ for this for 4 nights. Unbelievable how much they only offered 200 as a refund. That’s nothing I could keep going on with the list of stuff. I cannot believe this company makes as much as they do and couldn’t reimburse.

Wonderful condo I had a wonderful stay! We did have a few hiccups when we got there though. First, our door code would not work so i ended up have to call vacasa and the gentleman reset the door code and stayed on the phone with me to make sure the door code worked and we were able to get in. Then once we got into the condo, the trash had not been taken out and had mexican food containers in it that smelled awful. We took out the trash ourselves and then had to purchase trash bags to put back into the trash can. That is the only real issue i had with the 703 condo. Everything we needed was supplied in the home, dishes, toaster, coffee maker, washer and dryer, ice maker, pots, skillets and silverware. It also have a wonderful view of the ocean and pier! I had also read reviews by other tenants that made the statement that the rental came with included is beach chairs and maybe some of the others do, but condo #703 does not have included beach chairs. But they were easy enough to rent on the beach, same-day set up. The beach chair company is really great too!

Horrid! Stay away from any property managed or affiliated in any way with vacasa.

My entire vacation was ruined by dealing with vacasa every day.

No blankets No chair service as represented Local office always closed (it was 2 blocks away from the property) On the phone or texting all day with vacasa trying to get our chair service, never got it Vacasa stated they would refund me for chairs and umbrella that I was out, at my own expense Submitted receipts, vacasa refused to reimburse One tv completely stopped working

All of these could have been remedied had there been a property management company that could be reached other than via text in another country. With a local office literally 2 blocks away, I thought issues would be handled. The property itself was fine, other than zero kitchen stock, not even salt and pepper. What is the point of a kitchen when you have to restock it completely for only a few days, be reasonable in your "sanitizing" policies. It's simply an easy way for the cleaning company to trash everything and anything left by previous tenants. Also, no coffee filters for the dual Keurig.

Vacasa is horrible to deal with, there is no other way for it to be said. I am home almost a week now and still trying to deal with them just to get them to refund me for the chair service they refused to provide although it was listed in the title of the property. I submitted receipts, their immediate response was, "we need the full receipt." My response, "there are items on that receipt that are none of your business." Stay away from Vacasa, they are horrible. After my experience, I am now seeing the norm is horrible service...
