I am a patient with severe daily pain from 2 car accidents (not my fault) in 1991, and back surgery in 2005, including 6 pieces of titanium replacing 3 spine discs.i am also in a wheelchair. For over 10 years off and on I have been prescribed opiates among numerous non-opiates. Now I have medicines that work extremely well. Unfortunately at the same time the Congress has passed thousands of laws preventing the use, prescription, and distribution of opiates they seem to have forgotten that some people use them safely and completely returning them to functional human beings. However all the people along this path can choose to make it mare complicated. Rite Aid is one of them. My Dr and I have been trying get my 28 day supply filled since Friday April 26,2024. To be distributed on April 29th. They have refused having excuses evert day. Yesterday they said they were "out of stock" and had no idea when they would have it. To add misery if I don't take this medicine on time I go through violent withdrawals. I have told them this so much I have to go to the ER to prevent death. They do not care they have no compassion. You'd think I'd go to another pharmacy but that is not an option because of the laws I stated above. I have reported this pharmacy to Rite Aids...
