Lavish — Attraction in Santa Rosa

At the beginning of August I asked Steven to do a surround sound audio installation. He said he would send his associate to my house to assess my needs. Several weeks went by with no communication from Steven. I sent an email and he replied, saying he had been very busy. Finally, about a month after my initial contact with Steven, his associate scheduled a time to come to my home. He was very cordial, took lots of measurements and photos, spending more than an hour. He said that Steven would be in touch with a proposal. After several more weeks passed I emailed Steven. In his reply he implied that I had not communicated what I wanted. In my response I repeated what I wanted from him and reminded him of his colleague’s visit and the extensive notes he had taken. At the end of September he replied that he’d forgotten, but that now he understood and would be getting back to me. That was the last I’ve heard from him. I can only conclude that he is not interested in doing my job, but I must also infer that he is not very reliable, certainly not very respectful of other people’s time. I would have understood if he just said that he wasn’t interested in my business. But to pretend otherwise is just disrespectful and frankly,...

So full disclosure. I went here thinking most things wouldn't be in my price range, but I did want to check out some of the higher end audio equipment and see if they had any sales. Maybe I would find one component that I would splurge on. At first, Tony helped me find a great pair of speakers at a price that was extremely reasonable. He recommended a solid receiver that would cover all the things I needed and they had some really cool turn tables, but I wasn't sure what I wanted. So I went with the speakers. I asked about some speaker stands and since it was Black Friday, they were having a sale and Tony was able to hook me up with a deal on stands with speaker cable thrown in. I was gonna leave it at that and keep looking for the other pieces, but since they were so helpful and I knew that I would be getting hi quality components, I went ahead and bought the receiver and turn table there as well. Ugh, I wanted this relationship to work out well. I hired them for what they told me was their "sweet spot". Reconnecting my TV remotes and getting the displays on my two new TVs connected to the Cable. They spent all day at my house, inventoried my entire system and then charged me for this effort. When they left only one of the two TVs was working, they clipped a wire to my WAP which took a network expert hours and a fortune to figure out, and they disconnected wiring that ran my wifi which I also had to have repaired.
