El Patio #2 — Restaurant in Santa Rosa

I went to this El Patio restaurant in Santa Rosa to get a quick dinner for my aunt and I. It was only 5 minutes from where she lives. I also went there because I used to go to the El Patio on Broadway quite often so I was familiar with it.

I ordered two ground beef tacos for my aunt and a chimichanga for me. As always the food was very good, quite tasty, nice and hot and I didn't wait long for my order even though they had a good amount of customers. The tacos were decent size with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, salsa etc., but the chimichanga was huge. I made 3 meals out of it.

I give it 4 stars only because the restaurant is very small, not a lot of seating and not very appealing. But for food, menu variety and service I would definitely...

The food was really good as usual. But if you are a local, ask for hot green and red chile, otherwise it is fairly mild. Carne Adovada good, but could be spicer for my tastbuds. We ate on the Patio, near the fountain, very nice. Margaritas lite ice, were good. Service attentive. El Patio is a bit pricey for Mexican food in the area. $2.50 for a special raised egg for your enchiladas! Overall a great experience and good food. Sincerely friendly, home-style Mexican dishes, and something more: As my son and I sat down for a late lunch, I saw a homeless man enter. He was treated with humanity, care, and generosity by the true gentleman at the counter. The staff person was quietly helpful and I only noticed because of heartbreak around how our rigged Ponzi scheme economy throws so many people into homelessness.
