Nice little park along the small bay. A few benches facing the water and west, so a great, quiet, and perfect location for watching sunsets. Also great for watching pelicans (and the occasional osprey) diving for fish. And we have seen dolphins come in to feed too just before sunset. There is also a small playground with swings. No tables, so sit on the grass, or let your feet dangle over the water. No restrooms. Easy, and free, street parking.

Beautiful little park for anyone that wants to relax and find a small spot to let your mind free. It's also a dog park so it is setup with the amenities you need to walk your dog there which is nice. There is also a small playground for the little ones. The best part about this park is the view out to the bay. Keep in mind there is no parking lot. You will have to park on the side of the street.

I LOVE this tiny little park. It's perfect for taking a walk or biking nearby. The view of the water and the sunset is unbeatable. I love to watch from the swing set. It's a really tranquil and lovely spot, visibly adored by the community. I regularly see all sorts of folks there--families, students, seniors, and pets!

So very peaceful with a few swings and benches and grass to picnic on ... as you look across moles over the Sarasota Bay and to homes on Longboat Key and just the other side of Longboat Key is the wide open Gulf of Mexico with the most awesome sunsets 🌇... you can go from Sapphire Shores Park with a date and point these facts out then say let's get in the car and in 15 minutes you can be over to Longboat Key and one ofvthe many public beach access areas and enjoy a great sunset then dinner at one of the many restaurants on Longboat Key! I have impressed dates this very way and make it like a treasure hunt with the stops along the way as the adventures...
