This is an amazing park but it’ll be better if ppl kept the dogs off leash in off leash areas. They have 2 separate dog parks where dogs can be off leash and they are nice sizes. But many ppl like to walk around the park with their dogs off leash. In open areas you have kids playing, ppl walking and many other activities going on and often times ppl parking and walking families to the baseball stadium. I have a dog and my is always on leash outside the ‘dog park’. But everytime she sees another dog off leash of course now she wants to run rampant also. It’s called a dog park area for a reason. Ppl going there with dogs and want their dogs off leash need to take their dogs to the ‘DOG PARK’ or stay at home. There are areas around the city , open parks/ areas where dogs can roam openly, where there are not kids or heavy public traffic but Daffin Park IS NOT that area nor is Forsyth Park. Control yourselves and be considerate of other...

We have lived within walking distance to daffin for almost 3 years now and I just say it is such a beautiful park. The people there are always friendly and it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. The oaks trees are huge! The open field itself is huge and good for sports or picnics in the grass. There’s always something going on like outdoor yoga, sometimes there’s an outdoor traveling gym, food truck festivals, rugby tournaments, etc. There is a dog park called Herty Pines Dog park on the southeast corner of the park. We used to live taking our dogs over there but sometimes there are so many dogs it can be overwhelming. Daffin is also home to the historic Grayson Stadium and their baseball team the Savannah Bananas. The games are so much fun and the fireworks they display some weekends are phenomenal. Overall, I adore this park! If you come you will you not be...

Daffin's track is padded which makes it easier on the in step. There is a community park for your canine as well. Of course, there is the Savannah Bananas at Grayson Stadium so on Monday during baseball season you can get your run-on & play in a complete package. Also, I caught Peter, Paul and Mary there at a Folk, Bluegrass festival.

Daffin's tennis courts are good and I like to recharge my cell outside of the gates while waiting. Yes, there is a grilling pit, and bathrooms as well.

The is a pavilion on the East end near Waters. If you're traveling by CAT then catch it at Joe Murray and listen for the protocol which will prompt you that you are approaching...

Daffin Park was designed in 1906 & is located on East Victory Drive in Savannah, Ga. It is an 80 acre recreational park with a loop distanced at 1 1/2 miles. Since its creation there have been many additions from the basketball court to a full football field to the baseball stadium, now home of @thesavbananas, to a public pool, tennis courts, playgrounds & the historic pond with a fully functioning fountain. Wow!!! Savannah is beautiful. #savannahgeorgia #daffinpark #aerialsnanglesmedia

Nice park for a walk or run. Mile marker signs posted for convenience. Even though it’s close to the main road, it’s not very loud. However, one side of the park is near the fire station and that could get loud at times of an emergency. The park has a waking trail, dog park, playground, basketball court, and I believe a pool. The fountain is also gorgeous and has benches around it for seating. Be careful with little ones around the pond. Oh, it also features a huge lot of green grass for whatever you’d like. Such as, soccer, running, star gazing, etc. people bring their dogs out on a leash as well. Lovely park.

My husband and I took our puppy for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The park has two sections one for over 25pounds and the other under, we went into the over 25 pounds section there are two water stations one for drinking and a small bone schaped dog pool! Everyone there had great control over thier dogs, we could tell everyone played by the rules allowing us to experience a fun and safe time! Park has clean up stations for owners to bag up any poo poo no worries of stepping in any! Great socialization for dogs!
