I brought my vehicle here to install subwoofers, amplifier, and run wires. I purchased the materials from Skar Audio website and took them to the shop. I dropped my vehicle off a couple of hours after opening. I did not receive a call stating my vehicle was ready for pickup until late afternoon or early evening. After I finally picked up my vehicle and paid nearly $600 for their services I drove off the lot and started playing some music to see what quality of work had been done, I didn’t make it to light down the street before hearing major distortion and ultimately hearing the subwoofer cut-out completely. I pull over to find that the sub is smoking because it has blown out and is making a crackling noise when I push on the cone. I pull back up to the shop and ask what might have happened and the guy who was working on it checks it out and confirms that the subwoofer is indeed blown. One of his coworkers asked what happened and the guy responded by saying it blew up and proceeded to start laughing. At this point, I am very disappointed because I paid my money for their services and quality work. I asked the manager if they tested the system before handing me back the key and proceeded to ask me why would we test something that you gave us. I left the shop and came back the next day and asked the manager for a refund, he told me no because it wasn’t their product and they did not have to test anything before I came to pick up the vehicle. He then tells me once I get more subwoofers in to come back and they will install them for me. I chose not to come back after I got new subwoofers in because I knew it was just a matter of plug-and-play and did not need to spend more money for something I...
Read moreAs a black female and a human being entering a business I think it's customary that anyone working in the building should first say hello. Upon walking into this establishment the owner continued I wouldn't say the owner because I'm not sure someone working in an employment status in the building continue to conversation with another person that was social from the content. So often we as black people enter businesses and get ignored I am not that person. So today I say to you it's your choice go where you want to but understand as I do that if you are black if you are female you may not get the attention or respect that you deserve from a place that is operating a business in America in Georgia in Chatham county in the city of Savannah in my midtown neighborhood. In my opinion this place is trash that can do good work they can say hello to you but because they didn't say hello to me and not just didn't say hello they ignored me it's trash and I won't be back and I will tell anybody that I meet that this place is trash. Oh by the way he didn't even say ma'am can I help you after he saw I was leaving so that tells you he was waiting for me to leave cuz she knew I want he didn't want to wait on me. Yes guys racism and sexism is still existing I don't know why y'all keep saying it's 2025 is going...
Read moreUnprofessional and Disrespectful Experience I called Kimball's Mobile Electronics ahead of time before making the drive from Midway to Savannah. Kevin told me they don’t take appointments and that I’d need to bring my vehicle in for them to take a look. Based on that, I made the trip — only to be met with complete disregard. When I arrived, Dave didn’t even greet me or offer basic courtesy. When I approached him for assistance, he told me bluntly that they were booked and couldn’t get to anything — without even taking a moment to look at my vehicle or offer any kind of recommendation.
This was a complete waste of time and gas, and could have easily been avoided had they communicated more clearly over the phone. Extremely unprofessional. I would never recommend this place to anyone —...
