Our recent stay at the charming B&B Zia Gianna was an absolute delight, leaving me with memories of a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I stepped through the doors, and met Bruno, the dog, we knew we were in for something special.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the incredible breakfast spread that awaited us each morning. The term "amazing" doesn't even begin to do justice to the culinary delights served at B&B Zia Gianna. The attention to detail in each dish was remarkable, and the fusion of flavors and ingredients created a memorable culinary journey.
The cozy room we had the pleasure of staying in added to the overall charm of my experience. From the tasteful decor to the plush bedding, every detail had been carefully thought out to provide a comforting and inviting atmosphere. After a day of exploration, returning to our room felt like returning to a cozy haven—a perfect place to unwind and recharge.

Read moreWe journeyed to the land of Zia Gianna, nestled between Yuletide celebrations and New Year's Eve revelries. For two days, we were welcomed by the charming and gracious Nino, who served as our host. Our train arrived in the late hours of the night but Nino greeted us with open arms, making us feel as though we were home.
In the mornings, Nino prepared hearty and delicious breakfasts that beguiled our taste buds. As we had some experience traveling in Italy, it was a treat to hear Nino's stories of his childhood. But no tale of our stay would be complete without mentioning Bruno, the guardian of the B&B. We were fortunate enough to stay in Bruno's Room, a cozy and well-appointed abode on the upper floor. Each morning, Bruno greeted us with renewed excitement, eager for more petting and playtime. Bruno, of course, is the friendly furry puppy ambassador of the B&B.
As our final day drew to a close and we returned from our wanderings through the historic downtown, Nino greeted us with a sweet surprise - homemade limoncello and cookies! It was a fitting end to a perfect day. All in all, our stay at Zia Gianna was a true adventure, one that we shall remember fondly and one that we would recommend to any traveler seeking a touch of magic in...
Read moreNino and Hans are wonderful hosts - with the help of Bruno. They welcomed us and our dog, Lyla, into their home, invited us to have chocolate vegan cookies with specially made limoncello as we settled in. Nino gave us directions to Forsyth Park for our evening walk - just a few blocks away. Our ensuite room was perfect - with snacks and water/beer included. The king size bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet and overlooking the back garden. The shower - perfect after a long day of travel with soothing hot water, soaps and lotions, and fluffy towels. Chocolates by the bed. In the morning, coffee was ready when we came down stairs. (Nino had asked the night before what time we would want it.) After sitting in the backyard with our coffee and tea, we went for a morning walk around the neighborhood. Upon our return, Nino served us a fantastic breakfast of frittata, fruit and pumpernickel toast. Just delightful! He shared stories of his family and Sicily. And of the process of opening a B&B. We highly recommend Zia Gianna for any length of stay in Savannah! We look forward to...
