Victory square is its own lil chaos. The stores located in and around are fine but the traffic flow needs an overhaul.
I don't blame the drivers as much as whoever designed the overall layout, the when and where to stop and where a stop sign is isn't organized. They could benefit from adding bump dividers to better navigate. It's not a singular stores fault either. Who ever created victory square only cared about getting as many businesses in a single location and not the flow of one from the other to main roads.
But anyone from Savannah already realizes this.
Easiest way back to victory if heading right is over by the carwash across from firehouse subs. The light to victory past home Depot is a hell intersection and there's no point in using pull out from Krispy Kreme to skidaway if making a left safely. It's best to hop over to the actual light beside abandoned theater to get a legit turn light.for left. Trust me so many get in finder benders trying to drive across from Walgreens and make rights from left. Not worth it. Get to a light to move around skidaway in the part outside of victory square.
An overhaul of the parking lot and roads inside victory square could fix all of it, but no one has the time money or concern to make it safer to drive to avoid fender benders, they will leave it to the individuals and their insurances instead of stop it from happening with...
Read morePretty much the ghetto. We went to target and there was trash on the ground, two adults yelling at each other in the parking lot over a spot, 3 police cars detaining a boy against the pole, the employees were clueless as to where things were. Just like Walmart they has us walking in circles.
The check out girl was dressed in a manner that would have had her sent home. Why is she is a shirt tee shirt with her stomach hanging out? I am a big girl too but this is Not what people want to see. I have been a retail manager for over 15 yrs and this young lady would have been sent home.
Then while on check out AN EMPLOYEE tied up 2 registers for her transactions. Very very rude and disrespectful to customers. We needed an ID check for my wine and the self checkout employee saw and Ilooked at her and then she just walked over to the employee who waved her over, and the elderly man next to us needed her too. We waited what seemed like 15mins. My husband had to remind me we are not in NY and I needed to calm down.
This was a terrible experience and I will NEVER shop in this...
Read moreI was atHome Depot today trying to buy a Refrigerator. After looking for a sales person or someone who could help me for 15 minutes I finally food an employee who advised me they could not but would page someone in the appliance department. So I waited and waited for another 20 minutes and tracked down yet another home-depot employee who couldn’t help me but again page someone from this department. After waiting almost an hour someone came buy and started my order. I went to pay with my apple wallet and was told they have no scanners on any of the credit card machines. When I finally got it paid for no one would help me with loading it or even seemed to know who to page. So I stopped another employee passing by and was told the could find any of the follies. So after 15 minutes this employee takes a dollie of the shelf and proceeded to help me load it. I don’t know what has happened to home-Depot but the employee acted bothered and aggravated by me purchasing the 1300.00 dollars worth of appliance today. Very poor...
