The Legacy team went above & beyond in remodeling my master bathroom & home.

Legacy’s design team of Debbie & Jeremy helped me select materials & fixtures that worked with the existing character of my home to bring the looks together. The rendering Jeremy did helped me see how the space could be reconfigured & added touches that I never would have thought of that did not measurably impact the cost; they were small items such as a different placement/curvature of a wall & different type/placement of a drain. The thoughtful initial design really made a difference in the final product.

Craig was the superintendent & was fantastic. He handled any issues that came up during the remodel. Craig also, in overseeing the day-to-day work & trades, brought up small tweaks that, again, didn’t really impact the cost but made a big difference to the final look & functionality of the space. He really understood what I was looking for & had awesome ideas that the professional tradesmen & Legacy’s inhouse master carpenters were able to implement right on the spot, such as a different way to light our new sauna incorporating a hard-wired switch, complete with a stained glass effect & creating a built in look for my sauna. Craig also spent weekends working on making my master closet exactly what I wanted and beautiful too (solid pine). I really appreciated Craig’s technical expertise & making my remodel flow smoothly.

Legacy’s inhouse professionals were truly hard working experts at their crafts. Scott, Floyd, Steve & Greg made everything just look gorgeous & also mentioned little things they could do to really make things come together. Scott & Floyd, along with Craig, spent a lot of time creating my master closet & getting the shelving semicircle look/functionality I was going for, including Scott creating a wrap rod design. Additionally, extra matching solid wood around my sauna was added to enhance the look & even the relatively small tasks, such as making baseboard pieces such that they curve around a wall, were done incredibly beautifully by Scott. Floyd created 4 more build in closets made of solid wood that are very sturdy & maximize the closet space. He also installed my front door & master bath cabinets. They look phenomenal & most importantly, work perfectly. I believe many companies can procure nice materials but, without expert installation, it may not be quite right or not hold up well over time. The last two inhouse professionals were Steve & Greg. Steve took great care to make sure things were done how I wanted them, even small things such as hooks at an optimum height & configuration. Greg installed my half wall cabinets in my living room & made them look elegant with the way he built out the baseboards. The inhouse Legacy experts brought out the materials & design to their full potential.

In addition to the folks directly employed by Legacy, they work with a great network of skilled tradesmen. I was really happy with everyone who came into my home. Everything looks flawless, especially the tile work for my shower bench & built-ins. Ken painted my home inside out & made the walls look better than they were before by patching & fixing them, even items I had not noticed before. Everything he did makes my home look polished. Ken also put in/designed a new gate for me that is really stunning as it has an aged wood look.

On a practical aspect, Legacy also made sure that the materials were up to par. They sent my new front door back to the manufacturer twice because it did not meet their standards. It gave me piece of mind that they were making sure things were done correctly, even if I might never have noticed it.

Lastly, on a personal note, all of the Legacy folks were really great to have in my home & were always very flexible with an eye towards making everything about my remodel perfect. Legacy took the initial idea of what I wanted for my remodel & made it something really...

In this long review I want to give you an idea of what we went through. Our remodeling project consisted of a new kitchen, new master bathroom and new entertainment center in the Arizona Room. Based on the significant dollar investment, our expectation was high level of quality in materials and labor, and meeting schedule commitments. Legacy Design Build Remodeling overall met these expectations. They accomplished this by following their advertised process which consisted of. (1) Project Analysis which was to really understand what we wanted to accomplish and discuss what that means to us in time and cost. They explain their process and we met the key people that would be involved in managing the project. This initial step really helped us understand the full scope of work and funding that our wants created. (2) Pre-Build and Permitting Phase was our most enjoyable because this was the design phase of the project. We were fortunate to work with Jeremy, who had particularly good design ideas. He spent as much time as we needed until we had acceptable drawings. As part of this phase, we decided to use the vendors that they recommended. It turned out to be the right decision. We selected all the cabinets from Solid Cabinetry which is a Phoenix based cabinet manufacturer. What we got was high quality custom level cabinets at a production manufacturer price. We were able to go to the manufacturing site and select what we specifically wanted in style and color. Next we went to ProSource to select our tiles, trims. We worked with Katie who is a fabulous designer. From there we went to Hughes Supply where we had a great selection of plumbing fixtures, cabinet handles, etc. We worked with Kare, a great designer and extremely knowledgeable about pluming products. We then went to Arizona Fireplace to select our new fireplace. We got exactly what we wanted. Finally, we went to The Yard to select our countertops. What a superb selection they had at very reasonable costs. This was 3 days of enjoyable shopping, learning about different styles, functionality and product quality. (3) Building is the demolition and construction phase. In this phase they assigned a Project Superintendent who, on a daily basis, managed and coordinated the construction schedule, workforce and oversaw work quality. If you are familiar with construction projects, you know that nothing goes totally as planned. So we had our share of minor delays, missing materials and redoes and some frustrations. The great news is Craig, our Super, handled everything, kept us informed and at the end we had what we had originally deigned for and wanted. While the management team was first class, you don’t get quality deliverables if the hands-on works aren’t good. Well Legacy has the finest Master Carpenters, Cabinet and Iron works people I have ever met. Floyd, our Master Carpenter, who installed our cabinets and did other trim work treated this project like he was doing his own home and his wife was looking over his shoulder. He checked, measured, touched up every cabinet, cabinet door and door handle until it was 100% perfect. We were satisfied with the quality a lot sooner than Floyd. (4) Closeout is the final walkthrough which went quickly and easily. The main reason is that Ritch, Production Manager had everything 100% complete. This included the Punch List (of only 5 minor items), the financial reconciliation and a completely clean, painted and polished areas that was the construction site. Now we are enjoying our remodeled home knowing that we have a 2 years warranty for anything. You just can’t go wrong with a company that ensures quality of workmanship and products throughout their process which includes the vendors and...

Upon a bathroom remodel we wished done, we called Legacy Design. At first the lady Beth was very helpful. Going through ways to save but knew what we wanted. Our job was not big at all just a simple shower remodel to a walk in for an older woman who needed it.

We set up the appointment. My schedule is very tight and my time like anybodies is very valuable. Well they pretty much completely did not show. The next day Beth apologized and took requirements for the remodel and said she would call me back with an estimate as making it out that day would be impossible with such a busy day she can't even make up for missing out on an scheduled appointment but I still gave them the benefit of the doubt.

She called back but this time her tone was different. She was not as cheery as before and sounded like she was making excuses for us to not want to take the job or a reason. by giving an outragous estimate nearly 3x the amount that other experienced contractors were offering for the bid and a reason for her guys not to make an actual appointment to give us a real estimate.. I asked her to send me the estimate via email and said she would get it to me and I would have called her back after I reviewed it. Never received the email nor follow up call.

Even though our job was small, they all start somewhere and referrals, word of mouth, go along way in adding business. I can not recommend this business as its product may be amazing as I am sure it is, but its service is...
