Su Vino Winery — Attraction in Scottsdale

Horrible communication. I normally write some pretty good reviews but the inability to even book a party here is quite surprising. I personally have not stepped foot into the place but my wife and friends have. It's too bad because I hear it is a nice place to go. But, here is my problem:

I originally emailed in order to inquire about setting up an event for my wife (which would include a party of at least 16-20 people), which I did receive a prompt email back with some details and asking if I would like to confirm. I emailed back stating I would need to gather a head count and I would get back with them within the next couple days. After I got a total I emailed them back as they requested so we could get the paperwork started. No response. I gave it a week and tried emailing again. Still no response. I called and left a message since there was no answer advising about the date, number of people, and the type of event I was looking for. Never got a call back. I then called back after another week or so and spoke with a gentleman there. I explained that I just needed to setup this event on the specified date and gave about how many people would be going. He explained that he would need to contact the wine maker and make sure the date was available, and then would call me back. Well that was over a week ago, yet again.

I can only make assumptions as to why they would not like to book this party for us, or if they were unable to, why they couldn't just email or call me back. At this point I have exhausted my attempts and will be venturing elsewhere to a place that will hopefully be able to at least respond to a potential customer. Anyways, we will not be trying again and hope nobody else has this much trouble trying to even...

Our group made a reservation for a tasting to order private label for a special event. I called, made the reservation, and even called to confirm. We arrived and they had no idea we were coming. However, the server was fantastic and the only reason why we are giving 2 stars. She was friendly and apologetic about not knowing and made it work.

Fast forward to trying to get the labels made and the order placed. After multiple unreturned emails and phone calls where Cory was not in, but I was assured he would receive a message, we said enough. We are now going through Su Vino Winery in Texas and I have to tell you, they were extremely professional, friendly, and helpful.

Whatever the reason there was no communication after sending pictures of political GOP figures so we could get them signed to auction off, it appeared to us that the desire to business changed once we sent the pictures of the labels we would have made.

Not good business, so I hope all members of the GOP do not get this type of treatment at this winery. If it wasn't that, then overall, it is just unprofessional and not a place to do business with. It is 2 months after the tasting and we are behind on our event...

This is a revision / update of the review I posted just yesterday.

If I could give zero stars to Su Vino, I would. I ordered a bottle of wine in March of 2023 and never received it. Upon reading my Google review, Su Vino has finally indicated that they would refund my money (something I asked for back in December, maybe November, in a phone message to which I never got a call back).

I have had a couple conversations with Su Vino via instant messenger from their Facebook page.

The first was on 9/28. Where Su Vino indicated that the temperatures were falling and they would be shipping in a couple weeks. I did say I would return to Scottsdale in Feb and would love to try more wine.

The second was October 28 when I asked if they were sending the wine. There was no reply.

The third was December 17 when I asked again about my order.

The fourth was January 18th when I indicated that I would pick it up.

When I got to town I went to their place in Scottsdale during their business hours. They were not there. I gave up. That is when I wrote the first review.

They have had many opportunities to make this right. It’s been 10 months.
