T-Kay Nails & Spa — Attraction in Scottsdale

I was looking for a salon closer to me and decided to go to Paulene’s. I knew some ladies who used to frequent this salon years ago so I figured it would be a good experience. I read reviews to try to pick a technician (I can’t remember her name now) and made an appointment. When I got there every employee was busy including the technician I made an appointment with. I probably sat around for almost half an hour waiting for her to finish. I wish I had left because my nails were not worth the wait.

I was getting a fill with gel and she kept going back to file them over and over.. and over! I thought maybe she was new at being a technician so I asked her how long she’s been doing nails. She said it had been over a decade and I was SHOCKED. I ended up spending over THREE AND A HALF HOURS just to get a fill and basic pedicure. She took so long to do my nails that the shop closed. I had somewhere else to be and was agitated that I’d probably not make it. When I went to pay I realize my bill was almost $10 more than it should be. I had called and been told that callus removal was included in the basic pedicure. It was not. I also left and had to drive back because she never gave me my polish back. Maybe another technician would be better but I won’t be back after this...

I had the most beautiful set of nails done by Daisy🤩🤩🤩, and I couldn't be happier! 😇She gave me a soft natural pink base with delicate white heart designs and tiny diamonds—and the result was absolutely stunning.💅

Daisy has such a great eye for detail. The hearts 💞 were perfectly placed, and the little diamond 💎 accents added just the right touch of sparkle without being too flashy. The almond shape she recommended made my hands look so elegant and feminine.

My husband and I are in town for vacation. After days of hiking my toes begged for some TLC. Since I would be there for awhile my husband decided he'd try a manicure. My husband works with his hands, we are talking big rough/stained construction hands. After our treatments, I felt like a million bucks (get the pampered pedicure) and my husband's hands were so renewed and fresh looking! I even had my pedicure and manicure at the same time.
