We just recently moved to the area and found Seabrooks seafood market. I was excited to try the fish and shrimp but the experience we had today was horrible. We arrived at 525pm, there was probably 5 men working the line by unpacking supplies and cleaning but only 1 man actually providing customer service. There were many people standing around waiting to be helped and then many left due to not be serviced. The gentlemen actually assisting you are nice- staying from 1 prior experience. Out of acknowledgment that there were far more costumers than helping hands my husband went and told the owner at the front that there were many people waiting and many people had left and we still needed help. The owner barely acknowledged my husband, lacking the true customer service we expected , and stated “ you just have to wait” in a rude tone. My husband was upset and wanted to leave but I still wanted to get what we came for: given now that we had been waiting for nearly 20 minutes, well then finally another guy comes to help but he uses this announcer of a ticket number. There is no signs to pull a ticket- nor is a ticket holder clearly visible. So yet again a ton of people rushed over to pull a ticket and we were left with nothing but disrespect. I then decided to leave after realizing that I wasn’t going to be helped. I’m an icu nurse so I feel that I’m definitely patient and understanding but pure customer service was disregarded towards us. My husband said we will...
Read moreI see people leaving reviews about being charged extra, and that you have to be aware at checkout, which is exactly what happened to me, the guy tried to make look like a mistake, but i know it's not. in addition to that I don't feel respect to the customer, neither at the checkout or during the service. I want to note that the fish is good. but still I'm not going back until i hear the people mentioning a positive difference. .... Edit: after a quick reply by the owner, the rating is now 2 stares up from 1 star, and would get 3-5 after I hear about a change, then if I would have a different experience after another visit. What happened is that I ordered 2 kinds of fish, each of a different price per pound, i was told a total based on both kinds priced at the higher rate of the more expensive fish( by the guy who helped me get, and bag the fish) but i was paying attention to that. -as a lawyer i can tell if it’s actually a mistake or not, since he also assisted, no miscommunication or confusion would occur at checkout as was claimed by the cashier-
The cashier had a rude attitude handling the entire situation, and the other guy who assisted had experience handling fish but need to learn how to be honest and pleasant. Looking for forward to leaving a 5 stars review.

Read moreThis 1 star rating is for the RUDE Hispanic workers that are SUPPOSED TO HELP YOU. When we first walked in, there were a couple of people being waited on, but there was no line at all. So when other customers that came in AFTER us were being waiting on, my father made several attempts to get the workers attention, but they BLATANTLY IGNORED and MOCKED my elderly father who is a veteran and retired First Responder. I couldn't believe the level of disrespect and the way they treated people of color. I finally spoke with the male Asian manager, who was EXTREMELY NICE. He made sure that we were next to be waited on.
Needless to say, we won't be back! Next time we'll spend our $200 at Rosie's Seafood Market.
To the manager: Please train your staff in Customer Service Skills because you are serving customers from diverse backgrounds that's spending their hard earned money. Everyone should be treated with dignity...
