Absolutely Divine Place to visit. Finding this place made our day on the last day of Year 2021, What a way to start 2022. This is probably after a long time I have seen so many deities in one place. This Temple definitely makes you feel like you are in a Temple from back in India. Yes, this temple style is more inclined to the south Indian style. Most folks will definitely feel right at home here, no doubt about that. The amount of effort the priests take to dress up (Alankara) every single deity is admirable. Fantastic choice of cloth material, colors, the various flower combinations, the various nuts and fruit choices is impeccable. This is what made this place divine and stand out in my opinion. Apart from being able to speak English, most of the priests speak three of the South Indian languages (Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, in alphabetical order), and Hindi to a good extent. Since I speak fluently all of the languages listed above, it was a breeze. The Temple is maintained absolutely clean inside out. The interior floor was so clean, I could eat of the floor, that should give some comfort for parents with tiny tots, who usually love to roll around on the floor. All of the priests we met and all of the people in the kitchen and in the main corridor were very friendly and amicable.

The Kitchen is absolutely clean and the price of the food is very reasonable compared to the quality and quantity you get for your money. The food offered is of the South Indian type (Sambar Rice, Yogurt Rice with pickle, Muruku, Laddu (2 per bag), Boondi, Mango Lassi, Kesari, Upma and many more depending on what's on the menu for the day). Trays are provided to carry food to the table. You have a choice of either eating inside the building right beside the cafeteria (which can probably house around 125+ people at a time) or outside under a canopy (can house around 25+ people at a time). All of the food items are individually packed either in a plastic container with lid or in a zip lock bag. Free polythene bags are provided to carry food home. We loved the food so much, we bought home quite a bit for our dinner that night. Credit/Debit cards are accepted both in the main temple above for Archana and other ceremonies, and In the Kitchen below. The main temple corridor has a small indoor stall set up for devotees who wish to buy clothes towards contributing towards a certain deity alankara. Again, Credit/Debit Cards are accepted here.

Restrooms are really well maintained and of good size, located adjacent to the Kitchen (just close enough), indoors on the first floor. The Main Temple is on the Second Floor. Space for Washing your feet is available both on the first floor by the Kitchen and by the front door on the second floor Temple entrance, and so is the space to hang your coats (plenty of hangers available) and leave your foot wear in designated cubbies (which are plenty on both floors).

I would suggest, right after parking your car, you go straight to the First floor Kitchen area from the back of the temple (clean tarred pathway goes to the back of the Temple), leave your coats and foot wear, wash your feet and hands and either use the restroom or just head to the second floor through the steps from inside the first floor. This way, especially in winter, you will free yourself from wearing the heavy coat indoors and In the Temple, as it will get really hot if you wear one. The Temple and the Kitchen is maintained at a very good temperature, so you will not need to layer up and still be comfortable inside. Kitchen is open the same times as the Temple. I would suggest calling them a day ahead to make sure of the hours, they seem to have many special days in a year, which may or may not coincide with any Hindu festival.

As for the parking, Among the various parking lots spread around the temple, it can take at least a 100+ cars. There is asphalt finished parking area on all sides of the temple and there is even more extra space in the barn within 50 feet of the main entrance. This Barn can easily...

We go to a temple for the Darshan of the deities residing there but SSVT is a temple where you can visit not only for offeing you prayers but also for the people who runs and volunteers there. In my years of experience of visiting temples where i always visited thinking im going there to pray to my god as people were nevr that much forthwith in interacting with common devotees SSVT is a big exception. Here people are so especially the panditji's that i go back to this temple again and again. A special mention to the manager who makes you feel right at home and really give you the feeling that the i belong there and a part of the temple doesn't matter even if it is your first visit. Last but not the least when i went there for the first time i was looking for a temple where i can perform my son's thread ceremony and where the ceremony will be primary goal for the institution not how much money they can mint from me and SSVT and it's management did that for me. For them the dieties, the devotees, the puja offerings come first. Their is no distinction from where i come or how much im donating all that matters in this temple is how much bhakti and devotion you have in you and in what way you want to express and every way is welcomed. I know i mentioned mainly about the people and non about the deities or the interiors of the temple but i as i believe there is god in every human being and the people who are so good in heart you only can imagine how beautiful and mesmerizing the temple and the...
