First I would like to say, my family has dined at this location for years. Food, always delicious, but this night we went was H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E in terms of the environment and what went down. Date of visit, 07/5/22 roughly around 8pm for dinner, me and mom were greeted nicely and sat and were settled in. Me and mom are part of the way into our sald bar which is how we always start off our visit, and there happened to be a very loud, very rowdy group at the bar. The group sitting at the bar were unfortunately having a loud, very inappropriate conversation to the point where the guests in the rest of the restaurant near us, INCLUDING the gentlemen at the bar were visibly disgusted. The inappropriateness of the conversation was getting to be a bit much and was starting to disrupt our usually pleasant experience. So myself, including the gentlemen sitting across from this group took the time to mention to the manager which was standing right there that this wasn't exactly acceptable and that there were other diners who were not enjoying their time because of this. The manager looked unphased, and he then comes to me and my mom's table about 7 mins later to "apologize" about them. This apology doesn't take care of anything, cause not only did it take him long enough to say something, but we overhear him telling the rowdy group about what we said in response to him about the fact that this group was really bothersome. One of the women in this group then decide to start cussing up a storm calling me out of my name from across where me and my mom were sitting and decides she wants to try and walk over to start a fight, although 2 of her friends restrained her before she could make her way over. That group goes back to what they were doing at the bar and the woman starts again... except this time yelling obscene things about me calling me a b** and racist across the entire restaurant. The manager does absolutely NOTHING for about the next 35 mins while this is continuing. It takes the person serving us and a few other guest complaints to get the manager over to apologize to us again and finally tell the group to leave. So we're highly upset at this point, and wondering why in the world did it take this long for a MANAGER to do his job and why was he almost basically entertaining what was happening. This manager cared more about this rowdy group than the comfort and safety of other people in the restaurant. Needless to say, truly disgusted and highly upset after this. Thank God for Kayla/Kiana? our server, and Reggie their host during this shift... They did more than the manager in this situation and were absolute sweethearts to make sure we were okay during and after what was happening our entire time there. They deserve a promotion! Honestly hope this is the last time I or their serving and hosting staff ever experience anything like this again at this location. 1 star ⭐ because at this point it's only going to be the food keeping us...
Read moreI have dined at the Greenbelt, MD location several times before with no problems. But on this visit, the hostess was not accommodating and somewhat rude. When I arrived, she wanted to seat me in the section next to the bar. I asked to be seated in the other open area of the restaurant. She said I would have to wait ten minutes. When I stated that I see plenty of empty tables and could I please be seated there. She said no, you have to wait because there is only one waiter. So, I waited for about 15 minutes and she finally took me to a table and was giving me a two part menu and then put one part back. I stated I would like both parts please. And she said you won’t be served anyway for a long time. I told her I still would like both parts. Then, after I was seated, I waited for over 20 minutes and saw a couple come in who was seated right away and the waiter went to their table immediately! So I told the waiter I had been waiting long before that couple came in and you took their order before taking mine. The waiter stated to me that he only does what the hostess tells him to do. I told him that that is not right to have me waiting and not take my order. And he said he’ll get to me next. Then I told the hostess (there were two hostesses by this time) what the waiter said. The hostess said we only have one waiter and if you had sat by the bar, you would have been served by now. I stated to her I preferred to sit in the area where I am now. Then the hostess said in a rude way “Oh, you’re saying when you come here you seat yourself?” And I said no, I am the customer and I prefer to sit in this area and not next to the bar and never had a problem like this when I came here before. And then she said, “well, you won’t get served for a long time.” I stated to her again it was not fair to seat a couple who came in after me and then the waiter took there order first and I was completely ignored. This was a very bad experience and very poor customer service. This occurred on a Saturday evening and there was only one waiter for the entire section. This location needs to hire more waiters. In the past, they always had at least two waiters. Also, their hostess needs to be more cordial to customers and not have a rude attitude. Read moreEvery time I come here it’s never a great experience the service is always bad but this one time in particular was the worst. My mom and I came here sat down waiter asked what drinks we wanted she came back with two out of three of the drinks which was ok it happens but then she took forever to come back to ask what food we wanted my mom and I got the 2 for $24 with comes with an Appetizer and two other things we said what we wanted she came back in a fairly timed manner but once we got our food she took at least 20-25 mins to come back to us and we needed refills and condiments she came back we told her what we needed and she brings me back oil instead of vinegar which good thing I decided to smell before pouring it in my ketchup but which again that’s ok it happens then she took forever to bring me my vinegar we later asked for boxes and the check she comes and gives other people boxes then goes “oh did you guys need boxes” like yes girl we’re the ones that asked in the first place she never brings the check over until about 10 mins later we pay then she hands us the receipt and a total that should’ve come to $24 came to over $35 cause she charged us for everything separately instead of the deal which we asked for so we asked for a refund and she comes back saying some “Oh well you need to ask for the 2 for $24 first thing” which we clearly did not our fault she’s took busy day dreaming to hear us and I’d feel for her if it was busy but there was literally us and two other tables with 2 in 1 and then 1 in the other and then she refused to give us a refund then she asked her manager and the manger was like well she can get charged twice then get a refund within a couple days so we agreed to that and then they started yelling “YEAH BUT IT’LL CHARGER YOU TWICE” and then my mom was like yes that’s ok we wanna do that and then he was like “Well unfortunately you can’t” lol so they refused to refund us our money which idk if they have cash but they could’ve just given us the money they owed us in cash idk but worst experience ever and never ever coming...
