Excellent doesn’t even begin to cover it - this place is really something special. Let me tell you, these ladies - Emmy, Vi, Lucy, and Emily - KNOW WHAT THEY’RE DOING! From the moment you walk in the door they are so extremely kind and welcoming. I decided to try gel x for the first time, and my mom chose to do a pedicure - but we had nothing specific in mind. My mom was practically lulled to sleep with miss Lucy doing her pedicure - she was so relaxed and couldn’t help continuously remarking how much she loved the results. Miss Emmy is absolutely an artist - we got to chatting and she made it such a fun and collaborative process while she went to work. I came in just expecting to get a plain black gel x - and my scatterbrain kept pulling up new ideas on Pinterest as she worked. She was so kind and creative, and rolled with the punches, and took so much care and focus treating my nails like a work of art! Give her a direction and just let her go to work - you won’t be disappointed! She also gave me such great advice for maintaining my natural nail strength, and I learned so much! The environment is so cozy and inviting, and it felt like you were with a group of friends and aunties just chatting and giggling 🥰 and you can tell this is the typical vibe of this place because all the other customers that came in were welcomed as friends and the staff were all very attentive and curious about each persons specific needs from previous appointments - they really care about the work they do and the people that come through their door. I can’t wait to come back and see what miss Emmy will think of next time.

If I could rate more than 5 stars I would - unlike any other nail experience I’ve ever had!!! And everyone in the salon got invested in a little photo shoot of these absolute masterpieces!!! SO. MUCH. FUN. 🖤🖤🖤

I'm an older guy and this is the first time I had a pedicure. I went because a couple weeks previous, I had an annual check-up with my dermatologist. While there, I asked about toe fungus because my toes itched. She told me I don't have any fungus, I just have nails which had grown too thick and that caused the skin below to overgrow, making the nails impossible to cut. She advised me to lightly file the nails thinner, something I wasn't comfortable doing myself. So I called one nail salon that had no clue how to thin down nails. The second one told me that I need to see a foot doctor with specialized equipment. And the third nail salon I called, Excellent Nails & Spa, said they could do it so I made an appointment.

Lucy was my pedicurist. To be honest, I was nervous because the skin below the nails was overgrown and I was worried she'd cut me. But she seemed to really know what she was doing and the salon appeared to be very sanitary. Lucy had a special drill-like tool that she ran across the nails to thin them down after soaking my feet. Then she used clippers and other tools to cut the nails and remove excess (or dead?) skin from below the nails. And then she treated my feet with warm moisturizer (or oil) and warm stones.
