It was very cool to see the place and know about the stuff around it. But our tour guide was awful mostly due probably to the decisions of his higher-up. The beginning 10 minutes were outside where it was cold and raining, and it was right next to a plane runway where it was being active with planes landing. Then as he went on, the photos he showed us were only seen by a small number of people because there was a large group of us so it was a real inconvenience. Also, the place is very scary because all the stairways are as old as the building so it feels like you could fall and fie anytime, especially with a large group of people. Pre-pandemic this museum was open once a month between 10am-2pm on the second Saturday of each month. There are free guided tours (please bring cash to tip the volunteers) at 11am and 1pm. You are free to explore the museum on your own, but the tour is highly recommended given how knowledgable the volunteers are!

Read moreUpdating my review here to say there's no real accommodations for folks with mobility issues and management clearly doesn't care. No clearly marked disabled parking, and what they claim is was taken by someone without a permit and management seemed fine with that. Parking lot is gravel and the wheel chair ramp transitions straight from that and is barely wide enough to be ADA. The floors throughout the space have uneven surfaces which are not clearly marked, basically a law suit waiting to happen. Apparently the attitude is if you are not able bodied visit at your own risk.
