Aero Motel — Hotel in Seattle

This is the motel that i stayed in just before the honeymoon in 1996, and after 29 years, it's still just same as it was all them years ago....good to go to sleep. A lot less crack this time... If you don't mind the an older style building made into a cookie cutter type 'use all the left over space' long house with parking in front of office,b'cuz the parking in front of your door might prompt the lil' ol' angry Asian lady to then knock on your door too investigate who you might be harboring a visitor in your room (as if a motel was not a place to have a visit with maybe, I don't know, a girlfriend of sorts)...then she will guarantee your satisfaction as to bang down the door insisting that check out time could not be close enuff to the no good news of getting the deposit back (as if there was no roaches or riffraff tenants fighting in the parking lot ensure your safe return to where ever it is we go to hide from life and make this happy mo mo the vacation of choice away from this so called luxury we can't wait to run back too)...her white husband is a real pleasure tho' who hasn't been so jaded to have seen it all by now hotel mangeering. If you got a hotty for the night or just need to chit, shower, sleep and shave spot with minimal people permanently posted here...this is the place! Make sure to also enjoy the overpriced Shell station prices with a limited menu just next door with the skeptical Arabs running it and the bike club who does donuts in the lot every weekend ignoring the police warnings of the gun shots around the corner coming from the lil' huts village ODing on good times and free rent pizza harboring more drugs than the fire department next door to it....Also a wonderful assortment of art graffiti on the walls of the neighborhood to make a real welcome feel just like home....mmm...

I had a reservation at a different hotel originally.. After driving across the state with a three year old.. We arrived at the hotel we originally had a reservation at. That hotel was much more expensive and such nightmare while trying to check in. I left in tears due to the horrible customer service and the unnecessary headache they caused. Having a reservation was meant to avoid any unnecessary hassle and secure a room.. Or so I thought.

I found the Aero Motel by pure mistake. I had no idea where I was.. I was literally driving around trying any hotel I came across.

It was easily around three a.m. when I came across the Aero Motel. I rang the bell and the adorable lady that came to the window could not have been more helpful. I was able to rent a room with ease and only a twenty dollar deposit.. Unlike the other random hotels I cane across who wanted one hundred and fifty dollars.. Some motels the deposit was much higher.

The room was clean and comfortable. Although we were only able to sleep maybe three hours before we had to leave for an appointment.. It was quiet and comfortable.

In the morning while returning the key I met the husband of the lady who had checked us in.. He was just as sweet as her. I am so happy to have randomly found this Motel. Customer service is an important thing to me and this adorable couple had it nailed.

I would absolutely stay here again if I were in town...

90.00/night 10.00 key deposit. 420.00 to 490.00/week. No refunds, no rollover balances on rent. All money upfront for whatever your length of stay. No coffee maker in rooms, full size fridge, microwave, no iron , thin towels (bring your own for quality), clean rooms, large bathrooms, good internet, good cable with lots of channel options. Free parking though tight. No coffee or breakfast of any kind. Great weekly value for area but u can get more amenties for your money from 512.00/week using extended stay perks membership online at extended stay america tukwila South center. Train tends to get loud at any hour so don't recommend if you're a light sleeper. Its located conveniently near public transit busline routes 60/124 via Georgetown/downtown Seattle 26min. And route 124 going towards tukwila station to connect to light rail to sea tac airport about 35-40min. Lastly there is no inside lobby area or inside sitting area so no luggage holding.
