Georgetown Tiny House Village — Attraction in Seattle

Not allowed to have a fridge or microwave or toilet or shower in tiny home. Drug activity is insanely ridiculous and thieves are out of control. Even with security cameras! Wtf! Management staff are rude ignorant and impatient. Lack of understanding how to properly run something charitable such as this is a huge problem. Things get worse with favoritism and ignorance. Super Gullible to liars. My friend has serious health issues which worsen here due to this not being a suitable place to stay she's been in the hospital more than she should have been this last year. That's because she isn't allowed to have a lock on the door so she gets robbed of her bedding and personal things when she leaves. freezing at night and unable to keep meds in a safe place or a fridge. Some sort of order needs to happen here. If these are ment to be temporary shelters to help encourage those to get back to normalcy then some structure needs to happen. Rules and deadlines on what's expected. If there are those not wanting to respect the rules with this charitable gift then kick rocks and let those who are willing have the opportunity. Some people like to complain but this is the best THV they aren't white square storage pods they are actual tiny houses. Super laid back as long as you act like an adult and not a child. Pick up after yourself, don't leave crap everywhere or break things etc. But people feel they should be entitled to even more for whatever reason and its ruining it for everyone. Instead of appreciating what this place does for us giving ones life some safety and stability along with some necessary things like food water shelter people are taking it for granted and are going so far beyond looking a gift horse in the mouth to biting the hand that's literally feeding them to try and help pull that person up again but instead they feel it's not enough and their entitlement is going to end up ruining everything. Four stars because Scott Morehouse isn't running what used to be Nickelsville! Lehi(sp?) Has been running the villages, and they might actually help these people! Scott and Share tried to keep people homeless cuz it was lots of money in his pockets! It's no secret that he was investigated for misuse of funds, as well as some other things, but I'm not sure what those were, and I don't want to give incorrect info. My husband and I were at Tent City 4 in 2011-12, and took 60 out of 80 campers with us and formed an empowerment camp, called Camp Unity on the Eastside.
