It was a bit busy around some of the shops in Chinatown, but overall it was pretty quiet for a Sunday afternoon. If you’re looking for Chinese and other Asian food, it might be a good place to visit. However, there isn’t really much of a culture to see or anything historic other than the gate. It’s walking distance to Union Station where you can take the bus/train.

Seattle's Chinatown-International District, while a destination I had looked forward to exploring, unfortunately fell short of expectations, leaving me with a mixed impression. Anticipating an experience akin to the vibrant and bustling Chinatowns like the one in San Francisco, I was instead met with an atmosphere that felt markedly different. As the day transitioned to evening, the area began to feel increasingly uneasy, detracting significantly from the overall experience.

My visit was brief, primarily due to the growing sense of discomfort as night approached. While I did manage to enjoy some delicious coconut buns, the sketchiness of the surroundings overshadowed what I had hoped would be a more engaging and pleasant exploration. This visit was a reminder that every city's cultural district has its own unique character and challenges, and Seattle's Chinatown-International District, in this instance, presented an environment that didn't quite align with my expectations or...
