This trail is fairly easy with a few short length of uphill/stairs but I wouldn't recommend for families. It's a decent walk except for a few things: Part of the trail pops you out on busy 145th with a narrow sidewalk. You'll walk along 145th till you reach about 12th Ave then turn back onto the trail with a not very obvious entrance. I think we did this walk right after a big homeless camp cleanup so there are way less campers. If it wasn't for that, we would definitely run into more of them. I think we also saw some needles/debris. It's on the perimeter of the golf course. Twice we saw a golf ball land a few feet in front of us. So you're kinda testing your luck...
Read moreVery beautiful trail up until you get to the north portion where there are multiple homeless encampments. Honestly, the homeless problem within Seattle is so god awful. I wish the city would do more to improve the quality of life for people that live in the area. I’m sure many people avoid lots of parks because of the increasing number of homeless people living in them and leaving trash and filth everywhere. This was my first time to this trail and I won’t be returning until the city does something about the homeless living there. I understand that they need a place to live, but also don’t want to feel like I’m walking...
Read moreWhen you see the title, you get excited before you get here. When you arrive you’re at a golf course and you have an unpaved sidewalk that goes around the perimeter of that golf course. They call that a nature trail. There isn’t even a single place to sit down and there isn’t even a single place to enjoy nature here. This is the most disappointing park walk I’ve ever taken. I ended up just sitting on a rock near a street. Don’t come here if you actually wanna relax in a park or enjoy nature. This is a great place to stare at people golfing and wonder why they needed...
