This is the best DollarTree I’ve ever seen in my life. I do most of my grocery shopping between Dollar Trees and various food banks, and this place is a really good one. There’s plenty of parking (as they share a lot with a QFC), including a few disabled access spots with loading zones. The front doors are automatic sliders. They have shopping carts but no baskets, unfortunately- I always end up precariously stacking my shopping on top of my rollator. 😂 The store is super well-lit, well-staffed (I didn’t know Dollar Tree knew how to do that lol 👀), clean, and the aisles are kept clear of boxes and carts. Genuinely a round of applause for the employees here, it’s a great experience. They have worlds of incredible food. Even the stuff that’s in the $1.25 range is great. They’ve got boxed mixes of biscuits and other baked goods, dozens of different types of condiments, pickles, tuna, sardines, pasta sauces. The list goes on and on. There’s some name brand stuff that’s in the $3.75 to $5 range, so watch where you’re grabbing stuff from for sure. But I can absolutely get a whole week’s worth of lunches and dinners from here for $20. It’s great. They’ve got lots of microwave only things like premade rice- I’m really fond of the cilantro and lime one, if you want to try it. That with a can of precooked chicken is a really accessible way to make food as a disabled person. Also shelf stable milk! Whole, 2%, and 2% with chocolate. It’s incredible. The only thing that could possibly make this place better is a fridge/freezer section. I’ve included photos of the things I’ve gotten here as well as some of the aisles.

They went from hero to ZERO Most Dollar trees in my area close at 9:00 so when I saw this one was open till 10:00 they were my hero. So I frantically drove there even though it was a ton of miles out of my way. I arrived at the store at 9:50 they were closed. So to my demise they cost me probably $5 in gas plus an hour of my time. What wonderful customer service.

Hours say they are open until 10PM but they locked the door over 20 minutes early at 9:40. There was a bunch of people outside trying to get in but the employee who was inside said they were closed on the phone. Watched them leave the store and go home 12 minutes before closing. Bad behavior by employees management should fire them. 01/03/2023

Update: I'm going to raise my one star to three because they have gotten a lot more in stock and have cleaned the clutter from what it was a year ago, there's progress. Prices did raise. Nothing is one dollar that I'm aware. Most things are either $1.25, $3, $5 or $10.

Long lines, understaffed, never enough cashier's.

My daughter had a birthday party and I needed balloons filled up. I've seen other people get balloons filled for party's, that's what gave me the idea in the first place. I bought bags of balloons from them, just so I could get the right colors because the selection of solid colors sucked. The checkout was insane with one cashier and a line down the isle. Since they were so busy, I asked the cashier about the helium and filling of balloons, I told her if he back at opening in morning (day of party) to get them filled. She said sure, ok. Went back and my partner was told they won't do latex balloons. Which I feel is not accurate. I have seen people with bunches of filled latex balloons coming out of that store! I spent 10$ on balloons I have no use for. A separate incident about a month ago, I went in to get cards for family and look for birthday invitations. A female employee with long black hair followed me around the card section. When I couldn't find the invitations I thought I'd ask her for help. She was rude to me and did not help or answer my question. She started walking off and pointed to the whole card section and told me to look for them myself. Not sure what...

We couldn't buy anything because the manager chose to have the only cashier working on a register that had a broken chip reader. The other 3 registers were fine, but he said they were "too busy" to open one of them because they had "limited staff". The cashier asked if he would please take us on his register and he just said "no" and walked away. No fault to her, other than to be calling out occasionally that their chip heater didn't work. Really, they should have put a sign on the door. We wouldn't have wasted our time. The worst part of this is that it's obviously my daughter's birthday. She had a basket full of birthday items (balloons, a sparkly birthday crown, birthday sash, and a birthday balloon tied to her wrist. When I asked if he could open a resister that worked, he just laughed and said no. I said then they'd be losing a regular customer. He said, "okay, goodbye then." His response to, "we're going to make a complaint, "there's a 1-800 number. Have fun". Clearly this guy is used to complaints and just doesn't care. They're too short staffed to get rid of him. So even though one bad employee shouldn't reflect on the company, in this case, it does. They know their employee is horrible and losing them customers and they...
