Boba House — Restaurant in Seattle

Cute place! The drinks were really good, and taste refreshing. They offer unique drink choices. Their tapioca was well cooked, nice and soft. The staff is very friendly and the inside decoration is fun. I would love to see a bar area by the windows for the setup they have, with sheer fabric curtains to tame the summer sun and kind of mute the visual street traffic around rush hours. It is quite large inside once youre in it. Parking is a little tight, but its a good location for upcoming apartments and students going to north seattle. I found it hilarious that their receipt paper was subway on the back(maybe they need to order more?) Ordered Thai green tea and Osmanthus oolong. No toppings. Less ice each and only the oolong could be adjusted to 50% sugar.

The Thai green tea tastes way too sweet. I’m not sure what pre-mix is used that was told to us. The actual tea in the oolong drink is not strong enough. Even at 50% sugar, it tastes odd…It’s a reasonable sweetness, but I haven’t tasted a sugar like that before and now I’m unsure if it’s an artificial sweetener. I’m an avid boba lover and probably haven’t tried just one or two places in the whole Seattle metropolitan area. Highly recommend for these recipes to change.

The space looks cute overall but when I think back, the floor was sticky and I have never had that happen before when visiting...

I have been looking forward to trying this place as I saw it under construction. There are no good boba places in the area so I was hopeful to see this place pop up!

I got a black milk tea with brown sugar boba and 0% sweetener. I love the choice for no sugar as boba already is sweet. I think they have a solid base but have room for improvement. I would like to see the tea flavor stronger and an option for reduced ice as they filled the ice to the brim.

My partner got the oolong tea with sea salt foam and boba at 0% sweet. The tea flavor on this was stronger and it was tasty. The sea salt foam was strong on its own but mixed in it was perfect! I do recommend the brown sugar boba over...
