I had a deeply disappointing experience applying for an apartment at Centerline. After submitting my application and paying a $99 fee, I discovered a maintenance order from their own system referencing a mildew smell in the unit — something I was never told about beforehand. When I raised the issue, I was first told there was no mold. After I provided proof of the maintenance ticket, the story changed — suddenly it was just a “smell from the garbage disposal” due to bad cleaning. I was still told the application fee was non-refundable, even though I had valid health concerns due to my daughter’s severe mold allergy. Worse yet, I was told the manager would be consulted about a refund, but I never got an update — just a final message saying the fee would not be returned. This experience felt dishonest and dismissive. Transparency and health safety should be top priorities for any property. I do not recommend applying here unless you’re prepared to lose your money over undisclosed issues

I moved here from California without ever being able to visit in person. Saba was extremely patient, helpful, friendly, and kind during the entire process. When I arrived, the staff knew who I was and didn’t hesitate to introduce me to everyone around including maintenance and security. The most welcoming experience I could’ve had. A few months in now, I really have no complaints. I just come home and relax and go for work. When I had one concern about how to set-up A/C, AJ was quick to want to help me find suggestions where I could buy a portable A/C and even offered to help me set it up even though that’s not his job. When I did get one in, I went down to see if they can help, and another janitor was quick to drop what he was doing to offer to do it for me! The atmosphere they have down there is extremely welcoming. All the people complaining on these reviews aren’t following guidelines and that’s why they run into issues. Just follow the community rules (if you want an event in the community room, there’s a fee which is nothing new. If you park in the retail area, our community doesn’t own that and has sent out many notices that you cannot park there so if you choose to park there I’m unsure why you’d be upset to wake up to your car towed. Also, the security is not rude. He actually says hi every time I see him around and asks how work is going and what not. He’s kicked out people trying to come into the building and a few other things to protect the community and has told me I can reach out if I ever need anything. This place has been extremely clean & on the plus side - it smells like citrus oranges or something great in the morning when they clean. It’s always in extreme clean conditions and staff is always...

I was aware that the main responsibility of security people is to protect the safety of apartment properties and also the renter’s. But after several events with the security in this apartment, it makes me wonder they are intending to make you uncomfortable.

(Background: My GF lives here and she canceled the parking due to she usually park her car in my garage last month)

Yesterday when she back to apartment late and the leasing office is totally close. She can’t buy a permit and there is no parking slot outside so the only choice is to park inside and pay permit in the morning. And when she wanted to pay the permit fee in the early morning, the leasing office told her the vehicle has been towed. I didn’t see reason why the leasing office can’t simply contact the renter as they have all the info and also the retail area is not full. Why the leasing office always judge people like they don’t want to pay 25 dollars parking fee so they want to “take a lesson” to them? I cant imagine how upset my GF would be, it ruins my whole day and I will try to find another way to complain. At least I will let my all friends beware about this apartment and some social media to expose

Oh wait, there is no privacy in retail area since the security guy, at least, will try to watch the camera replay and read your reaction with bias…

Therefore,...

I have lived here since the building opened during Covid and as a whole, it has only improved since. Being the first tenant in my apartment, there were bound to be some issues that came up as I broke the place in. Throughout all of it, the maintenance team has been super helpful in fixing my problems most times in no more than a day. For the number of apartments they work with and the small team they have, it really shows just how hard they work to keep this place up. Finally, I want to mention how awesome the new security is. I have seen security guards in the past in this building spend most of the night watching Netflix in the lobby, but not once have I seen our new guard slacking on his job. Some people don't like it when people take their jobs seriously because it can be "less fun" but in the end of the day I feel safer in my apartment now because I know he is on top of it. The entire team is super friendly and will not hesitate to stop you for a conversation. There is a reason I have been renewing my rent here for...
