I would love to leave a great review here but I can't. The pizza was really good.. but it wasn't what I ordered and wasn't what I drove 75 miles each way for. And it wasn't what I waited over an hour for sitting outside on the bench. I spend over $80 on three pizza to go. When I got to my friends house to eat them.. the one specific pizza I had driven there to try.. was not correct. the main unusual ingredient plus an addition had been left out.
Because of my commitment to the process of trying Zeeks out and because of the extraordinary circumstances of driving so far, waiting so long and then getting the wrong pizza, I made a formal complaint. I got a nice note saying next time let them know if anything goes wrong and they will address the staff. while I did not write specifically asking for a refund, I did think a complimentary something might have been in order. In my business, when any staff member does anything that a customer feels was a problem.. even if it was the customers fault.. I make it right, plus some. I never want my customer to feel that they are not the most important part of my business. I respect the time and money and the fact that they chose us to do business with...Zeeks? not so much... I did my part. They did not do their but I "paid" for it anyway.
A real life analogy. My son is a bridge builder.. the first section that China sent over had holes all through the steel.. they asked that he take the first section and they will do better next time. ( seriously?) So the son moved to China to observe every step going forward... I'm not going to move to Seattle and watch over my next pizza but honestly... as good as the pizza is at Zeeks.. I can not with good conscience do business there if my commitment to them means so little.
So.. my review is Great Pizza and as long as you are happy with what they give you.. then your golden. If however, anything goes wrong, don't expect any respect or...
Read moreAbsolutely atrocious service. At 5:30pm, I ordered one large pizza for pickup at 7:30pm. When I arrived, I was told that it wasn't in the oven yet, and that I should come back in 25 minutes. When I returned at 8pm, it turned out that they had not even started making the pizza yet. I was given an estimate of 10 more minutes to have it ready, and they would throw "some extra toppings on" for the inconvenience. I declined and asked for a refund, which I have yet to receive because apparently only "the boss" approves those. I will not be ordering from Zeeks again. I recommend anyone who values their time and money to steer clear of this place.
Edit 3/7/24: After almost two weeks, I finally got my money back from this order. Tony ( who performatively responded below) never replied when I emailed him and asked for a refund, so he clearly had no intention to "make it right" as he claimed to want to. I instead had to initiate a dispute of the charge through my bank and recount the entire experience above to them. To reiterate the takeaway: ordering from Zeeks is gambling with your money...
Read moreWe generally do take out, but decided to do dine in on a Friday night. After ordering, we kept overhearing the cook complain constantly very loudly for about 30 minutes that he had been there since 9 am, multiple people had called out, he was 2 hours behind (no one told us that) and eventually, the cook got so frustrated, he left, so the front service guy had to make the pizzas for his first time. He did a great job considering the circumstances, but we found it appalling that only the manager can do refunds and yet they were nowhere to be found when the business clearly is struggling with staff. I commend the guy who took initiative to make salads, pizzas AND then do all the dishes.
I wouldn’t recommend this place until they get staffing and management sorted out. You’ll likely have to wait a long time for overpriced food (even without this experience the pizza hasn’t been worth the...
