I had a good vibe shopping at Ravenna Rocks the first time in December 2023 that I became their regular customer, coming back every few months, each time bringing a new friend or family member.
My reasons for liking this place: Store ambiance - bright, warm, inviting Products - they have a wide selection of rocks, minerals, jewelry, fossils and more. If you don't see something displayed on the shelves, there is a good chance that it's still unboxed in their warehouse. You can also have some rocks engraved with your own sentiments. As birthday gifts, I had a selenite palm stone and a shungite plate engraved. Pricing - fair, reasonable Customer service - Not only are Josh and Jennie helpful and knowledgeable, they have a no-pressure to purchase attitude. One time I mentioned I was looking for mahogany obsidian, on the next visit Jennie brought out several boxes of mahogany obsidian. On another occasion, my sisters and I took an out-of-town friend to the store one Saturday evening, we were like kids in the candy store and stayed past their closing hour. They were patient and accommodating, and didn't rush us out at all.

It began in 1928 with Jewel Grocery, then to Jensen Grocery, Thompson’s Antiques, and for 40 years, Silhouette Antiques & Gifts, which was my Grandmother Lucille Mroczek's store from 1980-2020.
