My wife and I called into Angel's Barber Shop whilst travelling from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas. Angel's is on part of the historic Route 66 and as a result there is plenty of merchandise that reflects this. The staff were very polite and quite happy to have a conversation around the history of the town and how it was forgotten when the nearby highway opened. There are bathrooms on the premises which are very clean and tidy. Angel's and the other businesses along Route 66 are well worth a visit, they rely on tourists to make a living and...

Touristy stuff flows out out of every nook and cranny of the store. But we went there because the owner "invented" the concept of Historic Route 66 when tourists stopped traveling on this road and communities were dying. The store clerk was pleasant, friendly and helpful. COVID seems to be keeping visitors away. We were the only two customers in the store on a beautiful afternoon in September. Rest if Seligman also was quite empty...

The owner of this shop, Angel Delgadillo, is the person who starts the Disney famous cartoon "Cars". His spirit and his story makes "Cars" so touched to everyone's heart. You can see lots of business cards and bills all coming from different countries. One of the touched thing for me is, I found the shop still keep my father's business card when he visited there at 2015. Thank you!! I really...

You could not find a friendlier place to stop on Route 66! Currently ran by Angel's daughter, the museum and gift shop is a relic to the past. First a classic barber shop and all the business cards gathered in his efforts to memorialize Route 66. If you are going to stop in one or two places, this should be it.

If you are traveling in the area and want to see the meetic road 66 and meetic place that will be a good stop. Great place to visit in the road 66. Will enjoy this small town. A few gift shops. Take some time to visit and rest. Recommended.
