I ordered a flaming Dr pepper as a n ex bartender, I completely understood that she didn't know what that was. I explained it to her she said she couldn't do it, I was fine with that. So ordered a beer and a shot. Paid gave her a tip. No smile no thank you no acknowledgment. Sat down my friend came in so I was going to order him a beer, but she ignored me. He sat down and she was right there to take his order. I ignored her actions cuz she was old, not busy at all. I asked her the price of her t shirts she said after she was done with my friends order and walked away when she was done she completely ignored me. No FOOD SERVICE there that I could tell. No...

The Route 66 “Black Car Bar” is as historical as the road that runs in front of it & a “Run-A-Way Bill” Favorite bar!
The “Black Cat” saw Historical Route 66 come and then go & then saw the Route 66 re-birth (thanks to Seligman).
Trivia: I learned today Route 66 was actually constructed for the 1928 Chicago World’s Fair to get people to Chicago from the West coast ... interesting!
The customers are full of positive energy in the “local’s” hangout.
