ATLAS APPLIANCE ON SEMINOLE BLVD VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I have lived in Blossom Lake since April on 1986. I have purchased several appliances from this company. I have had them out for service on many occasions. I don't know what has happened to this family owned business but I can tell you the service has gone down hill! I remember standing outside this building several years ago when they had a fire and actually cried and felt sorry for Mr. Robert James Sutton (owner). Recently, I have had an issue with an icemaker (purchased from Lowes and out of warranty and extended warranty by only a year.) I have had 5 service calls for the same issue with Atlas. 2 different servicemen, the first one removed all of my frozen goods out of the freezer (lower drawer unit) took the drawers out and assessed the icemaker. When he was reinstalling, he actually was banging the drawer rails with a wrench to try to get the drawers back in after removing them. This created a problem with the door not closing properly and the original problem persisted. This cost me about $300. I called again to let them know the problem was not taken care of and they sent out serviceman #2 Kevin. Kevin informed me that the first serviceman was no longer with Atlas Appliance Service. Kevin did not take out the drawers but attempted to align the drawer rails and said that was the problem why I was getting huge sheets of ice in the bottom of my freezer and causing it not to close. I explainee that the problem of sheets of ice was not new, this is why I called them initially. He checked the line to make sure there were no obstructions and charged me $100 for the service call (remember I had them out to fix this before and they did not fix the problem that cost me $300 initially. Kevin left and gave me his personal cell number and told me to call him directly if it didnt solve the problem. Well the problem was not resolved and he wrote his cell number down wrong! So I called Atlas Appliance again, each time I spoke with the Manager Nick (he states he has been "running" this place for the past ten years. I explained the problem has not been fixed, I tried calling Kevin but he gave me the wrong number. Nick said he would have Kevin call me. 2 days went by and no call, finally he called and came back out to reassess the problem, he again checked the lines and tried to straighten the rails out again. Cost $100 again. Again the problem was not solved, I called again, Nick sent out Kevin. Cost $100. Problem not solved. Now almost $600 later, my husband came home and I was on the floor, removing the huge sheet of ice on the bottom of the...
Read moreabout an hour ago I walked in hoping to purchase a lint trap for a dryer. An older gentleman was sitting at 1 of the desks on the phone talking to 1 of his employees (Shawn) who was out in the field on a service call. I'm not sure if he was the owner or not (because he refused to give me his name or the owner's name) but I believe his name was either Bob or Robert...I'm going to be referring to him as Bob as I write this review. While on the phone with the employee I heard him say "we are not housekeepers, do not move any of her furniture around". I'm not sure what the employee said but the next words out of Bob's mouth were "good, then it shouldn't take you more than an hour" and he slammed the phone down. His tone to the employee was beyond rude and I couldn't believe he was talking that way in front of me, a potential customer. Bob then asked me what I needed. As I was telling him what I was looking for a cell phone rang & without as much as saying excuse me he answered it and proceeded to have a conversation with another employee. Bob said "Shawn is over at that woman's house, I told him to leave that he didn't have time to move her furniture...that we're not a bunch of n*ggers". To say I was shocked at the language he used is an understatement! When he got off the phone he again asked me what I needed. I'm not sure how I kept my cool but I did. I asked him what his name was, he refused to give it to me. I asked him for the name of the owner, he refused that information also. I then went on to tell him that I did not appreciate the way he spoke to his employees & the fact that he used the n word. He told me it was none of my business. I turned around to leave & as I did I told him I'm going to write a review explaining my experience and that I hope he ends up going out of business. He laughed and said "we've been here for decades, good luck". I told him he won't be in business much longer. He followed me outside and said "that's why you look the way you do & drive the car you drive". I'm not sure what my weight (I'm overweight) or the age of my car had to do with his rude behavior but he obviously felt the need to insult me after I called him out on his rude behavior. after reading the reviews I'm not sure how he's still in business & to the person who said he/she's not sure why this company has so many bad reviews...we can't...
Read moreWorst customer service ever! THE POLICE WAS INVOLVED AND THE INCIDENT WAS DOCUMENTED. This is not a fictitious review. We have been treated rude and unprofessional by the owner and our water pump was throw away. My husband drops off our washer on Wednesday and paid $25 cash for inspection only because it was spinning sometimes only. The owner agreed to call us next day with the diagnostic. They called today Friday and said that it was fixed, that the problem was the water pump and asked us to bring $150 cash to pick it up. Once there we asked him why he didn't call and let him know that we weren't satisfied because we never authorize them to fix it. The owner said he wasn't there when it was fixed it and he didn't even now if the pump it was repaired or replaced. Then he ask for $100 and said it has warranty, but we wanted to know if they put a new one or no, so at that time he was upset and yelling us saying that he doesn't care about our business, that he has been there for a long time and that his business is well rated, he also ask if "we would agree to fix it in case he called us before do it", so they fixed it without our authorization and were pushing us to pay it for. The employee that fixed it was more polite and explained us the problem and what he did, by that time the owner was asking him to take out the pump form the washer and yelling us to don't come back to his place anymore. Before that we really were thinking to pay the $100 but knowing that we couldn't come back in case of a future problem with the washer. We asked to be present while they take out that pump and the owner refuse and keep us outside. They throw away our pump the day before so we never know if was really broken, they let our washer in the parking lot and the employee said to him that the washer doesn't have the bottom cover so the owner went inside and bring a rusted cover and throw it on the washer top and ask us to leave. WE CALLED THE POLICE AND EVERYTHING WAS DOCUMENTED, after reading the reviews I found that he denied other reviews now he can't say here anymore that others jealousy competitors are leaving fictitious reviews. The 1 star is for the employee, he was...
