Music Outlet — Attraction in Sevierville

Around 2001, my family and I made a trip to Gatlinburg. I had been playing guitar in a band since I was 12. I had used all kinds of guitars, but my 16 year old heart was set on a Gibson Les Paul. I mowed yards for two summers saving up, including asking for money for my Birthday and Christmas...all going toward the guitar. When I had saved up enough, I headed back to The Music Outlet. The staff let me play a few of the guitars, and I finally settled on a 1960 reissue honeyburst Les Paul. I showed the guy the one I wanted and he said, "Great! Come with me." He took me upstairs (which was a total mess, with boxes everywhere). He took me to a stack of boxes along the wall, and started opening them up. He pulled out 10 different guitars like the one I wanted! Each with different wood designs and of course, sound. He let me pick out the ones that I liked the looks of, then hooked them up to the exact amp I had back home. I found the type of guitar I wanted, and was able to pick from many of the same ones, so I was able to find one that I loved. Then when it came time to check out, they beat the lowest price that I had seen on the internet! These guys are great and almost 10 years later I'm still playing that great guitar. Have been going to the music outlet for 2 years now and every time I walk in the store no matter what my question is or what I need the employees there are always helpful & knowledgeable and willing to do whatever it takes to meet your needs or find whatever it is they you're wanting. They have an unbelievable selection of guitars and not just selection but many from each brand. Dusty one of the guitar technicians is always willing to do whatever adjustments I may need on any of my guitars and very flexible very knowledgeable about what he needs to do, all the employees here are very knowledgeable, and the hospitality they display to customers is amazing, it is real, they are not just acting helpful they seriously are wanting to take care of every customer whatever needs you have these employees will take care of them!! A Great place to visit, it's like family here, except I don't have no family here I'm from Texas & living in Sevierville now thank you music Outlet for your genuine hospitality. Wonderful place! My friend and I spent 3 hours here and didn't realize it, lol. They were so helpful and know what they are talking about. I bought my first fiddle here, they let me try one and I totally fell in love with it. They were so helpful and full of patience for all our questions. We never felt pressured to purchase anything. My friend bought a second giutar, he is blind and they gave him wonderful service, and talked directly to him, they didn't feel awkward giving attention to a blind person. Most people talk to me and ignore him but this place didn't, I thank you for that... I highly recommend this shop. The feel of the shop was wonderful, sounds of insterments filled the air with people trying then out. the smell of instruments, the selection of old and new instruments was amazing! the owner the workers were outstanding. I wish we didn't live outta state we would definitely spend a lot of time...
